This is my first day of total sobriety
I wish you well.I am at an AA Convention in Spain,the speaker today was Sister B,an amazing spiritual lady.It is hard to stay sober in the early days,please stick with it,it is worth it and it gets easier.

I was feeling a bit down today and only had to listen to this wonderful experience and that was able to calm me down....thank you so much...you are an angel
39years, 3 months of continuous sobriety due to the grace of God and the program of AA! I still go to a lot of meetings trying to help anyone to obtain and maintain their sobriety and to stay sober myself. I have started encouraging people that I hope that they can stay sober forever. A man I’ve been helping is coming up on a year of sobriety. He commented that “forever is a very long time.” I told him that I thought that when you died it possibly got easier? We are living in eternity right now. Seek God every day and do His will for you! God bless you!!
I was also having a down day. Decided to plug into an AA speaker - I am Al-Anon but I needed some fun and laughter and honesty and program. I got it
after 3 years 3 months i was wondering is i want to stay in a sobrity life , them i listen to this and wow God my HP brought me to this talk.

I keep imagining the Nunny Bunny off Sister Act, the round friendly one. This is a beautiful share from one alcoholic to all other alcoholics.
If you want what we have and are willing to go to any length, then you are ready to take certain steps. At some of these we balked......

We are sure God wants us to be happy, joyous, and free. We cannot subscribe to the belief that this life is a vale of tears, though it once was just that for many of us. But it is clear that we made our own misery. God didn’t do it. when i firdt happened upon this,all i seen was sister. i immediately thoight i wouldn't relate. boy was i wrong. sister B is/was a great speaker. also im irish/catholic,so i get her frustrations with wanting ppl to move past the past w church. dyri g this pain she has,she told an incredible story. thanks for sharing.

Amy C, Canada I am very early in recovery, although I have been in and around the AA program for 30 plus years with some short time soberity due to the fact that I now know is because I never did my 5th step. On coming back to the AA program this time, I was given a CD of Sister Bea!! I listen to it many many times and every time I listen to it I get something new out of it!! God Bless you Sister Bea your message is amazing!! By far the best speaker I have ever heard both in AA and outside help CD's!!

There are two days in every week
about which we should not worry,

One of these days is YESTERDAY,
With its mistakes and cares,
Its faults and blunders,
Its aches and pains.

All the money in the world cannot bring back YESTERDAY.
We cannot undo a single act we performed;

The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW
With its possible adversities, its burdens, its larger promise.
