Probably the best Buick effort of the last 30 years, and as reliable as any Lexus. Great car.
Best Buick effort in the last 30 years is the 1994-96 Roadmaster.
@@MostlyBuicks Not really. The design was terrible.
Which isn't saying much.
I agree, don't care for Lexus cars anyway
@@quincycooper79 Neither do I somehow.
People who owned the Park Avenue's loved them. This is a beautiful example.
Buick Ultra is a fine automobile . The Buick V6, 3800 was a fantastic engine.
As long as you don't live in the rust belt.
Now there’s something that you never see, a beautifully done top that you will NEVER see again! Talk about a rare gem!!
Beautiful car. I bought a supercharged 2000 Buick Ultra in 2004 with 66k miles. It was dark blue with dark blue leather interior. I drove it year round for 15 years in central WI and put another 300k miles on it. It was a one owner local car. It was still running on the original non-rebuilt engine, transmission, supercharger and even A.C. compressor. The A.C. did need recharged annually for the last few years I drove it, but was still ice cold. I wish I had the money for this one now. It was the best and longest driven car I ever had.
Love it! Thanks for bringing a Buick and not the usual Cadillac or Lincoln. Please bring more like a Regal GS or Riviera if you can.
Got a ‘97 Riviera coming up soon!
Yes we need more Buicks from SMC
Buick was like its own car company. Totally separate from GM... this is an awesome car
The large American car genre is long gone. This Park Avenue is beautiful
I still can’t believe how clean this car is. I thought I took care of my cars. This car always got the Royal Treatment!! And LOADED!! Gorgeous Buick!!!
We built a lot fewer Park Avenues than LeSabre at Lake Orion I can tell you that.
A real museum piece Anthony
I bought a 2002 Buick Park Avenue in 2005 and had it for nearly thirteen years. From the time I pulled it off the dealership lot 'til her last day, it was a dream! 240k miles. Miss that car everyday of my life! This video has got me thinking........
VERY BEAUTIFUL
I got me one a 2002 ultra 30,000 miles and yes the motor is rebuilt and transmission brand new body and interior immaculate. And ur rite u cant find them anywhere thts y im holding on to mine.
I thought those engines last forever
@@alljerseysmatter. Naw the head gaskets are that paper trash. Replaced those and everything else while it was opened up..
This finding deservers 1 billion likes!
The AZ pinstripe started with Phoenix Open Ed of Buicks and Oldsmobiles. I had a 96 Park Ave Ultra, was a great automobile.
Despite the simtop, NICE car, and no sunroof to boot.
I have a connection to 2000s Buicks. I grew up in Sanford, ME. There was a multi generational Buick Oldsmobile dealership in the heart of downtown that had been there for 80 years. Buicks Olds Cadillac Chrysler were quintessential in the sealcoated driveways of little white or maybe green or brown houses. Walter Reeks pumped out hundreds of Buicks every year despite being a “shoe string” dealer. In the 2000s the average Buick buyer was a retiree, and had been for 10-20 years and was running out of time/money. I met so many Century owners that admitted they wanted Park Avenues but couldn’t afford one. So Century Custom “Presidentials” done up to your liking were super common. And there was a massive glut of ultra low mileage rotted out Centurys with basically NOS interiors in the 2010s. Most of them here failed inspection and got crushed. Those door gaskets on the bottoms of the doors roached almost every northern NE Park Ave. EDIT - I think we repainted every Buick side view mirror in town, seemed like 2 3 every week for years always had a white paint transfer.. I’m sure some siding guy was replacing gaskets on garage doors every week too….. 😂 I’ve gone on too long…
Big fan of your UA-cam channel. I watch to relax and unwind. You always have great cars. I’m a long time resident of Michigan. Received my drivers license in 1976. Keeping ‘em coming.
I found your channel after buying a local (Phoenix, AZ area) “nice driver quality” 2004 Town Car Signature edition with 67,000 miles. I agree that the “pinstripes” (usually with desert scenery) is fairly common out here, particularly among older owners. It is unusual to see a “carriage top” in such good condition as the desert summer sun is tough. Like many of your southern cars, this tells me your car was possibly owned by a “Winter Visitor” (formerly known as a “snowbird”) who stored it indoors during our brutal summers (which are about 7-8 months long.)
Brilliant Anthony and Papa, this Buick is as nice as a CADDY. Wish I could buy her right now. LOVE IT. MASTERPIECE. !!!!!
Some Nice old Gramma took care of that Buick, probably her last New Car. Nice!!
Thank you for sharing. I hope you feel better soon. This Park Avenue is indeed in great shape.
Thanks pal! Doing better!
My goodness!! That thing is amazing! Can’t believe I’m this excited over a Buick
Good luck 👍🍀
That’s A Stunning Example.❤
Great Job.🧸
Years ago…..I knew a man who was the president of the gm union…..he drove a Buick…….i asked him why? Why not drive a caddy? He said “Sunny boy, let me tell you…….GM built the caddy for guys who wanted to tell the world that they had money…….Gm built the Buick for the guys who actually had the money “!
Wonderful video! The Park Avenue's are so nice and luxurious. Anthony speaks truth, you cannot find them in excellent shape.
Gorgeous yet rare gem!!
Great vehicle!!
They came with the roofs in CA. I remember seeing them new on the lots when i bought my 2000 Park Ave.
My favorite car of all time I’ve owned several of these. Currently own a Buick Lucerne with the 3.8 v6
That vinyl roof and the chrome B pillar appliques make this Park Avenue very retro!
It was called a phantom or carriage top, not vinyl. They were cloth.
Retro, but they still suck. IMO.
vERY nOICE! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for looking!
Last year of the Roadmaster was '96, so the '97-05 Park Ave. was then Buick's full size flagship -built on the GMA-D platform shared with the Cadillac Deville and Seville. The Lesabre I recently learned was actually built on GMs midsize platform shared with Pontiac Bonneville, Olds 88, Impala, and I think several others. I see this one has the automatic wiper gizmo behind the rear view mirror -very cool crowd pleaser that actually works🙂. Very nice example -your right, these are impossible to find and have been for some time. I was lucky to have a 2000 PA years ago, and managed to find a clean Sabre limited awhile back -which are also getting pretty rare. Which if I didn't have now I would be all over this car. Awesome find!!!
Beautiful, make me wish I needed another car!
i like youre pointer
Gorgeous. I've seen another with that butte decal but I thought it had a horse.
A very beautiful car. As nice as a Cadillac.
Did I hear HEADS UP oh that was Anthony on the description. This BUICK ULTRA is AMAZING just look at her. The top, port holes, and the color combo. Wow SUPERCHARGED grandma had an awesome car. Mileage only 58k. This is the first car that he ever included a PET no care needed. Papa 🐻
GM actually started offering HUD in Buicks and Cadillacs in the late 90s
@@tyler2610 Buick fist offered it in '97 on the Park Ave, but Pontiac and Olds were the first in, I believe, 1989 or 1988. Olds actually developed it for auto application.

If you find the riviera with the supercharger now that’s a gem. My buddy loved those so much he had 3 supercharged ones at one point
And yet it took me forever to sell my two 96 Rivs and got nothing but flak and insults online. Eventually they did sell to two VERY happy new owners. Each praising the cars in that they were BETTER than described. I guess I have a face people do not trust.
I also had three SC RIvs at one time. Two 95's and a 98. Absolutely love them.
Had a 96 Riviera and a 2000 Park Ave. The driveway looked good in CALIFORNIA SoCal 😊
Those sun shades are super cool. If you find out any additional information on those I hope you'll share it with us.
These rigs are beautiful. Can't find d good one at all. Gorgeous vehicle.
Hope you feel better soon Anthony. Beautiful Buick, I looked at one in Montreal last fall. But it was horrible. They are very difficult to find. Since they sold so few of them.
Very nice ultra anthony❤
I love it Anthony and Papa Bear, it is absolutely wonderful 👍 with the Roadster roof 👍
the only change I would make Papa Bear would be to put a new touch screen head unit with back up camera. I like the fact that it has the turn signals integrated into the side mirrors. thanks again for listening.
great buy. better than a new Buick
Yes, those wheels are in exceptionally good shape but I think I’ll go nuts if I hear you talk about them one more time.
I'm driving the same right now with 180k+. Not clean like this but I love mine..... Took a minute to pass emissions. My vehicle prior was a 2001 eldorado etc. So I don't have that power but this is just fine. Lacks the "punch" of the Caddy but can get up to cruise speed quick once at 40-50. Love these!!! Keep em coming!!
💐
Don't let those jadrools bust your balls about how rare this Ultra is. It's a beautiful car that's hard to find.
😍
I bought my 2005 Buick Park Avenue SE two tone Silver&Black with 80k miles now with over 240k miles still running strong good on gas! Had it for 11 years
They don’t make them like this anymore’ The Last year of a Real Buick
Those special editions are beautiful! I’d love to have one here some day.
I didn’t know I had one of the last 300 SE Two tone Platinum/Silver&Black ever built”
The other 3000 SE’s also was built that last year to commemorate the last year of the Buick Park Avenue. Here in my city everyone especially at work: I seen you going down Main Street! I seen your car at Kroger! Hey” didn’t I see your car at the gas station?
I’m like Dang!😅🤣I know I can’t do anything wrong because even the Law Enforcements gives me a dumbs up”👍😳🤣
❤
One of my all-time favorite cars although I prefer the non-Ultra. I had a ‘99 and ‘05 and they were spectacular cars, I still miss my 05! I am one that traded my 2005 Park Avenue with just over 40K for a brand new 2011 Lucerne and I really regretted it. I didn’t go back to the Park Avenue but only kept the Lucerne for 10 months and traded it for an Enclave which was a lot better but I didn’t love it like I did my Park Avenue. I’ve considered getting another one over the years and I do have a loaded ‘04 Century with 31K that pretty much scratches that itch. It is sad that these are all but gone now, even the Century and LeSabre are getting scarce and it seems like just a few years ago they were still everywhere. It saddens me to see the last traditional American cars disappearing from our roadways. It’s hard to believe that it will be 20 years ago next year that Buick ended its legacy line-up including these cars!
Excellent comment! You’re right, even the Lesabres are getting scarce. Over the next two weeks I’ll have another non ultra 2003 Park Ave. I appreciate your comment!
There are plenty of them here in AZ, but NOT FOR SALE. Unlike being rusted out like from your part of the country, here they are burnt to a crisp. I would wager it is from Prescott rather than Phoenix because it is so clean. And they are usually this boring silver or champagne color. Even white would be more interesting. I would not mind owning one. They are great cars.
My grandpa had a 1998 Ford Taurus for 15 years until he moved out. Cars down there just last forever due to the weather and following regular maintenance.
Super super rare car! He's right these cars are disappearing!
Похоже на очень комфортный автомобиль 👍
Looks like the styling was inspired by the Jaguar XJ6.
Probably won't last long. Beautiful ride.
👍🏆👌
Best car I ever had! 2005 Black on Tan interior, lady blew red light and I nailed her. Miss that car. Been looking for the right one since
love this but i need a Panther now
Plenty of those coming up
35 minutes...heading into Curious Cars territory
I like to be thorough.
That car was driven only ~3,000 miles/yr !? The cloth top grew on me. I bought a Lucerne and hesitated about its cloth top. These tops make a unique looking car rolling down the road compared to cookie-cutter boxes on wheels. This car is more of a classic garage keeper than a daily driver anymore.
The guy that created the VentiPorts, also designed the 1963 Riviera.
I'm looking at a low mile car, but has been smoked in. What do you do when you get a smoked in car ?
I like it but I'd have to have a hood ornament!
I’ve seen them installed! Measure twice, drill once!
Do you still have this beautiful Buick?
Pulling a bit to the left on the highway? Alignment needed?
Probably wanted to be in the fast lane 🏁
I have a pontiac bonneville gxp with 10500 miles on it got it new in 2004 no rain or snow
Those were the V8 correct?
yes 4.6 cadillac northstar.

Watch this fascinating video on how the last 3 Park Avenues were designed.
3800 v6 is a tank of motor
Pimp that ride...
have a white 2004 Buick Park venue Ultra I paid 3500.00 for it 3 1/2 years ago. great car for cheap broke people on a budget. When something goes wrong everything can be fixed for under 800.00; parts and labor at most paces. Supercharged 3800 Series Ii always USE 93 OCTANE gas its a must or you get a bad spark knock Mine had 134,703 miles now has 150,150 miles. Mine has everything expect the bucket seats and sunroof. Those 17.5 inch Chrome wheels are 199.99 to 399.00 used not kidding. Mine has that it was a dealer installed option took it off didn't work mine has the factory cell phone and antenna. Mine is Pearl White with beige leather int, Mine has the heads up display i find it annoying. Took the back camera off saved it..I dont have the sunroof or bucket seats.Mine has the Concert III and the 6 disc changer in trunk and all chrome Mine also has OnStar that still works I have it until 2026m for free.
A buddy of mine owed a 2004 park ave ultra super charged in black with 5% tint & newer Buick Lucerne 18 inch chrome wheels at in 2007 when we sold u know what & I wanna recreate that car my teen days miss it so can u find me a black one plz or in white if not I'll buy this one
That is one sweet ride!!! Buick certainly has fallen far....
Unbelievable how far they have fallen really.
I was saying to myself, he can't possibly ask more than 10 grand for it, lots of chips, bumper scuff, then Bam!$14,000 !!!
$13,995, but yes close. Lots of chips and scuffs? The car does have 58k miles. I didn’t think what I showed was “lots of” anything. 🤷🏻
Truth!@@specialtymotorcars
One day (if he be his will) i want to purchase a car from u im saving up got 6grand now
*Beautiful 2004 Park Avenue Ultra* !! *Happy to see that it is rust free and has the supercharged 3800 V6* !! *Looks like a smooth but fast ride* !! #SpecialtyMotorCars 🇺🇸
I have the same model in black with 4,000 miles.
Ultra?
@@specialtymotorcars Yes, it was a special order.
WOW! Even if it’s not for sale, I’d love to see pics of it to drool over 🤤 978-930-1004 if you don’t mind texting me some. That would be a sight to see!
Very nice, superclean underside too. Always think this generation looks a bit cheap and plasticy though, especially the interior. I prefer the 91-97 generation but you never seem to have those. You don't like them or?
I understand your comparison. I love that vintage too! It’s not that I don’t like them, because I absolutely love them! Just haven’t been lucky enough to have one cross paths with me recently.
@@specialtymotorcars Gotcha. Yeah they seem to be very thin on the ground these days, I only see a nice one once in a while on Facebook marketplace, not on other platforms it seems. I own a 93 with 40k miles in purple but that's in Europe..
With 80 views in less than 5 minutes who wants to bet this doesn't last 24 hours?
Is it the lighting or does that trunk or quarter looked different shade?
Which part of the video are you referring to? I didn’t notice anything that stuck out to me.
A very nice Park Ave. I would trade you my Town Car even Steven if it didn't have the top. A top on a Park Ave is a no no...
I love the tops!
Do you ship to Canada??!!
I can!
Can you let it go for 8k?
I wish I had that kind of markup on these cars.
@specialtymotorcars I meant can you sell it for $8,000 cash final price?
the lucerne that replace the park avenue was a complete joke
I bought one new in 2011 after my last Park Avenue and you are so right. It didn’t compare at all! I never was a fan of the styling but convinced myself it would be the last somewhat traditional new Buick sedan (which it was) but I hated it! I ended up trading it 10 months later. It would be interesting to see how Buick would have fared had they continued offering traditional models that catered to the elderly along with more modern offerings like the Enclave and Encore. The buyer base of cars like the Century and LeSabre largely died off but I’m only 39 and I would be buying them if they still made them. It’s sad Buick basically exists today because of China.
SUPAHCHARGED! And they are rare as hens teeth like the one here...
Homie will put on 24" wheels, full tint, etc.
🤣 sell me the original wheels back if he does
i like em alot ,
What was the percentage of the tinted windows? Ahem Ahem!!!
They have all been run into the ground because they were so will made.
Old venue
Keyboard warriors, lol. Interior may be more well done and attractive than that year of Cadillac.
I’ll agree if you park it next to a 00-05 Deville.
Speed demons. You can overclock the supercharger that comes in the car and double the hp for like $800
Thats a fair price
Thank you
If it isn't rust that kills these cars, it is failing electronics which is a real bi*ch to find replacement parts at this late date. And it is hard to rewire the problem and work around it.
First !
Congratulations 🎉 😁
