This used to be a thing but with population increase and let's face it.. who wants to be Cops. When there are TWO Officers there is less likely to be a confrontation or death of an Officer. That is fact but no one budgets for this really anymore.
Wow its really dangerous down there in New Mexico, so many officers getting killed and some shot and injured. I don't think police officers get paid enough for this. He was basically all alone and completely off guard and its so dark on those highways. It took them 15 minutes to even find the officer, not sure if that 15 mintues could've helped him but now we'll never know. This is why i believe every officer should always have a partner with him to always watch each others back. I know it might mean a slight increase in taxes but wouldn't new mexico people feel safer then

How does the guy make it from the Montoya/ Newkirk area which is smack dab in the middle of a huge Desert 🏜️ with nothing around and on foot to Albuquerque while there were hundreds of Police 🚨 everywhere 🤦 ridiculous. All those officers should be ashamed of themselves.
