- WMBF News Reporter Ian Klein provides an update on a missing Pee Dee paramedic found dead and the search for a person of interest in New Mexico.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday that Phonesia Machado-Fore’s body was found Friday night and that Jarmey Smith is a person of interest in the case. Smith is also wanted in a shooting that left New Mexico State Police Officer Justin Hare dead early Friday.

Someone with this history, convictions and "caught after a jail escape" is back on the roads committing two more murders., I would like to know just WHAT THE H--LL is going on? Not sure why people want more gun laws for a murder suspect. Some of his previous charges look like felonies so i doubt he was legally in possession of the gun. A clerk at a convenience store in Albuquerque recognized him …called it in. The Bernalillo County sheriff’s office got into a foot chase with him. He shot at officers and they returned fire hitting him (unfortunately he’ll survive). He’s in custody. WE WON’T LET HIM ESCAPE!
