I love William Hanson! I listen to Help I S--d My Boss whenever it comes out and have done a Zoom session with him on etiquette. Spot on. I put on about 10-12 sprays of Tom Ford Black Orchid Parfum yesterday and the bistro I frequent, the comment was made at how I “always come in smelling like a snack”
Mr. Hanson was wrong, I use about 12 sprays of Montale Aoud Cuir d’Arabie, but it’s still not strong enough
Also, the “pulse point” thing is complete rubbish as far as I’m concerned. Are your pulse points really so much warmer than the rest of your body that they will accelerate evaporation? Give me a break. Spraying the inside of your wrists doesn’t make sense when you consider that your wrists often rest on things like desks. I prefer to spray the back of my hands, where I’m less likely to rub the fragrance off.
For sure he's wrong. You need to spray at least 5 times to have decent sillage and longevity. I usually do 7-8 if the fragrance is strong and between 10 to 15 for the medium projecting ones :)
He's wrong as hell! The reason why most guys don't get compliments is because they spray too little. You've got to spray on opportunity! You've got to spray on conversation starter, and that's 5 to 8 sprays.

I agree with you to disagree with that influencer fellow's three 'squirts' rule. It depends on the fragrance, the atomiser (some spray far more than others!), the person and the situation.
Yes, He's absolutely wrong! 5 to 8 sprays is the way to go regardless of the fragrance or occasion.
I respect him and think his content is great. I don’t think we should take every rule he states as really true. He is playing with us .

The amount of sprays depends on the fragrance is correct but unless you going clubbing the fragrance guideline best to observe in the office and most other occasions is " It is best to discovered than announced". Sorry Curly Fragrance. I love your channel and love you even more, if you catch my drift but I have to call ball and strikes like I see em, or should I say smell em.

Judging by his other videos and his prim proper nature I'm not surprised he said 3 sprays. I usually do 5-7 sprays. His opinion is also instantly wrong since he said "squirts" 😂. His videos are nice though

I think you're right. Three squirts usually means you're not putting in enough work. 🤣 Two to the chest, two on each forearm, two in the eyes if you're not careful. But it's all in good fun. The right finger technique can make all the difference. ☝💦

If he wants to do three squirts, that's up to him. I think he is no authority on anything and pretty clueless with most of his content.
He is all wrong simply for saying "squirts." All other advice can be considered null and void after such a travesty of a phrase.
