The spaghetti westerns were the best. I always watched them in the movie theaters. Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef were my favorites.
Young or old, they sway the fans!! Classical movies in which they acted still draw audience and stun them!!

I never like Hollywood westerns with John Wayne and the likes thereof..Too boring and "white bread"..The spaghetti westerns however had more style, character better looking people with tanned skin..

I always feel strange when an actor dies.
The movies are different somehow.
I remember when Eli Wallach (The good, the bad and the ugly) and Ernest Borgnine (Wild Bunch) died.

So, basically we had Italianos playing Mexicanos… Adios, amigos.
Very sad that majority of cast is no longer with us, somewhat inevitably for a 58 year old film. Still a few unaccounted for, though, such as Mara Krup, (hotel manageress) Surprised she wasn't mentioned as she was 4th billed in opening credits?

Sad to know all those Italians actor's from those Spaghetti Westerns have died, There are some bad guys in those Westerns aswell, "No disrespect," Bit ironic really, They all died in the Films Thanks to Clint Eastwood & His 357 Magnum,? Anyway, they all played their parts very good, & Lea Van Cleef, What a Actor, There's nothing you could Teach Lea Van Cleef how to become a Westerners, He appeared in enough off them, High Noon 1952.With another legend Gary Cooper, Brilliant Actor Sadly Missed, Anyway, Lea Van Cleef i believe that was his Debut into films,? NOW There's Just one Cowboy left from all those Decades ago, Yes I'd like to see Mr Eastwood reach 100 years of age aswell,? & Therest of the World,

It's strange seeing Gian Maria Volont without the beard. They obviously made him look older in the two dollar films he appeared in. Being an Italian actor I haven’t seen anything else that he did outside those first two films. In the first film an American speaking actor dubbed over his voice, but in the second film he learned enough English to say his own lines. Apparently Sergio fell out with him over his over acting nearly ever scene and he nearly walked off the film at one point. But they never worked together again. I have always wondered, had they stayed on good terms whether he would have appeared in The Good The Bad and The Ugly and which role would have suited him. As Lee Van Cleef played the protagonist in the Good I don’t think he would have been cast in that role. I always thought there were similarities between the endings of both the Good and More. Like Groggy (Luigi Pistilli) played the Father Pablo Ramirez in the Good, I reckon Gian would have played a different role to that of villain. I could see him playing the role of Captain Clinton, the drunken captain who wanted the bridge blowing up. But there are probably a few other roles they could have found for him.
Should re-phrase some of those sadly to luckily he made it to.
Seems like Clint ia pretty well a loan survivor. Heart attacks sure was hard on the cast.
