Ah! Stéphanie! What a nut and gracious dancer! Always some original steps and a good smile on the videos. The way she holds her body I could recognise it a nautical mile away. No one dances like her.
I love themusic and the sound of the steps but I began watching with sound off and it looks hilarious.I'm not a fan of this dance style, especially with flailing arms and hair.
You all prolly dont care at all but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
Hay Cormac. Well my friend you blew me into touch this morning. My new found love is Lisa O'Neill and pair of you fine folks just shifted me to another place. Thank you.
Am liebsten würde man mittanzen, es juckt einem regelrecht in den Füßen!! Wunderbare Zieharmonika!!(One would love to dance along, it really itches one's feet!! Wonderful accordion!!!!)
@@loots9821really? I looked up other videos of Stephanie and they all say it’s Sean nos dancing. Though hers is much much more loose, the other videos I looked up of Sean nos seemed similar. I guess it’s just step dancing?

Outrageous rhythm!
An ear for a tune and a eye for a shamanic dance...beautiful balance between concertina and feet that catch the breeze...
I was trying to find suitable words for many young women sean nós dancers performances today and "shamanic" is one word that fits the description.

Is this considered river dancing? It’s not as tight and flows more. Love it

Hi Cormac !
What's the name of the first tune ?
I am just starting to play concertina ;)
Come back in 10 years
Fecking great playing, what is the first and last tune?

Which part of Middle Earth is this? Greetings from Germany. ^^
Dingle peninsula. I once bought a lobster for £1 straight off the boat at that quay. Mount Brandon stands behind it. I'll defer to a local.
What are the tunes called?
what is the name of the polka?
The first one is port deilea I think but good luck finding any videos or songs. I looked for hours
Fair deuce!
What's the last tune in the set called?
Peata geal do mháthair

The pier has since been demolished, due largely to the structural damage sustained in the making of this video.

What kind of dancing is that? Because it has no relation to irish dancing.
It’s called Sean Nos but this is the best video of it I’ve found
@@SBW4453U That's not what Sean nos dancing looks like

Her hair also wanted to join in but doesn't have the rhythm and control just yet
She would want to rein herself in a small bit,the brazen hussy!

This is why the Brits made the dancers NOT use their hands because it reinforced their idea of the wild Irish, Hup.
Is that fact/true B.D....? Source please?

Looks like American clog. It's hard to keep the arms down. I suppose competition dancing restricts all but legs movement for the sake of judging?
@@peterpozman6972The Irish brought that to USA and Appalachian moutains Seán Nós origin is Irish.
So true, irish dancing morphed into Appalachian flatfoot and Buckdancing.
