Definitely a wet one Paul. You did really well to capture some really nice image's of the Lighthouse. I can't believe how much plastic and rope was on the beach. Look forward to the next one mate.
Another great video. Shame about the weather. It was good to see the workings of the lighthouse. Great pictures. Lots of plastic and rope on the beach. Look forward to seeing the next video.
You really captured the reality of landscape photography in Scotland I have had a few days like that when visiting the west coast islands. Been to Eilean Glas a couple of times and its been amazingly windy every time but its worth the effort as its an amazing location and that foghorn is amazing.
I can't get over the amount of rope as well as the plastic on the beach. I wonder if the big boats just dump their rubbish at sea. Thank you once again for a terrific video.
When will this awful weather relent. Never known a winter as wet as this one and it seems to be continuing well into spring. Really nice images of the lighthouse Paul. Rather dispiriting to see the unbelievable amount of man made detritus washed up on the beach 📷👏👏
I had a similar issue on my XT3. I fixed it by using some dental floss soaked in WD40 then worked the floss under and around the switch, gentle working to and fro. Instant result. Love the lighthouse images.
Thank you Paul, you done well in those conditions! a sticky on&off its probably gunge and stuff underneath, don't spray it with wd40! Plastic and rubbish is a big problem whether it's by the coast or in the city, people are to blame and need educating.
Hi mate, we need to arrange a Scotland trip later in the year, especially as I missed Faroe because of my lost passport 😭I'm still not over that. Enjoyed the video as usual Paul but it's such a shame about all that plastic and rubbish, some people are just scum.
Useful reminder about all the crap we put into the ocean. Unfortunately its been that way ever since I can remember. I'm sure that in the future history is going to be recorded as - Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Medieval, Industrial Age and Plastic Age ... depressing. Nice compositions, all a bit too colourful for me though, considering the conditions ... each to their own. I heard from another photographer that Highland Council have recently put in loads of big boulders across the parking spaces of the main routes, presumably to force people into the few paid carparks, campsites etc. The freedom of van life may be coming to an end in Scotland, as happened in the Lakes 25 years ago.
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Someone told me that Argyle and Bute have also locked the gates on the Sallochy (Loch Lomond) car park to all but those with a pre-payed camping permit. Buggered it up for locals that drive there to walk the dog.
Definitely a wet one Paul.
