Once the 5.0 Beta is installed and has been started up the first time, Krita starts up way faster than previous versions.

I've noticed that on my ZorinOS install. The 4.x versions don't start in nearly as much time as the 5.0 beta. Great news for productivity and my patience🤣

Yeah Krita doesn't have much of a learning curve compared to Photoshop making the barrier of entry for it very low.

Brush customization is my favorite part of Krita. I've just started testing the recorder feature and it seems good so far.

I'm so hyped for krita 5.0
My fav feature is the gradient mapping improvements

Yeah those will definitely make drawing complex gradients much easier than before.

    Hi all,
To those of you who have been playing with Krita 5.0, please can you tell me if the HSV feature is a docker? I understand that it used to be a docker in earlier versions but was removed and there was word that it was going to be brought back. That would be really useful!
    Thanks very much.
    Adam

The official documentation for Krita 5.0 states that since 4 .1 this docker is depreciated but will return in some form in the future while not specifically mentioning the 5.0 release if that answers your question.

Thanks very much for replying, Chris. I guess that means 'watch this space' then. Hopefully the HSV docker will be back soon.
I really like your Krita videos, by the way. I've subscribed.
      Best wishes,

I have a samsung s7+ and not sure what PK I am supposed to download on it...any help please? I only have the software info, not the hard pack info...how do I know if I need to download the 32bit or 64 bit? I want the 5.0, as I do a lot of art. Cheers and thank you!

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with installing Krita on any platform other than Windows, macOS, or Linux. If it isn't a direct download from the Play store I can't help beyond that. The only thing I can suggest is see if the package you need is on GitHub and see if someone opened up an issue or pull request. The should point you in the right direction.

Will Krita work on iPad Pro's?

    • @chrislee4625
      @chrislee4625  2 роки тому +1

Not 100% sure, due to Krita's open source nature you may be able to find a iPad build on GitHub if there isn't already a community build on the App Store. All the same I'd highly advise against finding a build on GitHub because that can easily expose you to malware.
