Ya know what stu, I initially subb'd for YTP, but I really like your game videos. Brings me back to the good ol days of UA-cam. Keep it up fellow southern brother 💪
One mobile game I remember pouring a lot of hours into is the battle bears games. Mainly battle bears royale which a basic 4v4 multiplayer game with different class's to play each with their own set of weapons for them to use.
(spoiler: long text) First of all, I'll take occasion to thank you, I found about your channel just in a month or so and surprisingly (coz' I'm usually skeptical on new experiences) found you as a really fun guy and your videos entertaining, getting better as time goes by and you make experiments and find your way. I must confess what brought you to my attention at first was indeed the coyote fursona :v but I do like also games of almost all sorts, and even YTPs so... About the topic of this video... I think I can understand your position on mobile games, absolutely accept it and tend to agree with you. Although, I am one of those players who went through lots of time spent on mobile/fb games of many sorts, aware of their nature but also aware that I'm basically not swimming in the money and free games are free. I tried many games out, including Angry Birds series, including Plants vs Zombies, none of the screaming-guy-logo ones :v etc. -- SOME are potentially good. Lots are bull s* from the start but a few are good. What ruins them is the control as you mentioned, and being interrupted so abruptly and continuously by ads. And when you feel so powerless without spending. And frankly, when getting a call kills your progression because you're playing on what is supposed to be your phone in the first place. This gets much on my nerves, you can pause on consoles or PC but not (always) on mobile... you get a call, then return to the games, whoops -app restarts, you lost your level-... I had my time with mobile/fb games and I think that's enough. I am left now with just one mobile game mostly because I'm fan of its original cartoon and just want to see how the lore inside the game develops. Sorry for the wall of text being so long, that's how I roll :D wanted to share a thought or two. Looking up for the next videos 🐺
So a fun fact about Plants Vs Zombies. The developer Pop Cap was not owned by EA at the time of the first game's development. EA bought them and then ran the company into the ground and killed the Plants Vs Zombies IP. It's a shame cause I honestly enjoyed the original game. I had the PC version and you could make custom zombies even
the "guy screaming to the right" icons were all probably based on Clash of Clans which i think was the first game to do that and it ended up getting real popular. so i guess in this situation you mimic success by trying to trick people who dont know any better. the Fallout Shelter one was done in a later update as a joke if i recall.
2:33 "Mister, I am cat. I do not have the means of doing normal hooman behaviors like you do on a daily basis, now leave me alone or give me nommies, it's your choice"
Other thing about those "screaming man" icon games; why is there always detailed strings of saliva? That doesn't make me want to play your game, that just makes me lose my appetite.
14:45 I don't know but if I had to guess it's the same reason why the 360 / ps3 had a whole lot of "guy with gun or sword faces away from viewer staring off into the distance" games
You know I'd never heard of Raycon until UA-camrs everywhere kept shelling it out. Honestly I hate in-ear headphones, and if I was going to go with someone good, I'd stick to Bose. They make the best headphones I've ever used.
"Y'all remember swine flu? It was the COVID of 2009!" -Stu Kelly, 2020 Only swine flu wasn't nearly as bad as it was an epidemic and not a pandemic like COVID is...
If rockstar didn't take the mobile GTA ports down(Bcuz remastered trilogy), you can use a controller with them. Bizarrely, you need to hook up a physical keyboard in order to enter cheat codes so flying tanks in gta 3 requires an OTG cable. Overall, the mobile ports are really only worth playing on an OG Nvidia shield.
I just realized the cigarette your character smokes is backwards? Fallout Shelter changed into the screaming icon as a joke, but i guess it stayed? Must have been years ago, at least in plural
As far as good mobile games go Data Wing is great. Its a neon top down racer with a vaporwave soundtrack. Controls are simple with a fun game mechanic that takes some skill.
The only mobile games I play are the Sonic 1/CD/2 remasters and the Final Fantasy I - VI ports. I also play some jailbreak homebrew like the unofficial mobile port of Undertale and Sonic 3 A.I.R., as well as emulators and other source ports. I also have Dragon Quest IV - VI (the best versions are on mobile), Final Fantasy Tactics, Adventures of Mana (a 3D remake of Final Fantasy Adventure from the Game Boy) and Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend (an emulator collection of the three Final Fantasy Legend (SaGa in Japan) games from the Game Boy). My phone ran out of space for playing Genshin Impact and the PS1 Final Fantasy games. At least JRPGs and Sonic games control really well on mobile. My only problem is that the shmup segments of Undertale are harder with a touchscreen. Mobile games attract the worst kinds of autism in people for some reason. I am autistic but I never really got into mobile games unless they’re older JRPGs.
And spending hundreds of dollars on microtransactions is an understatement. Whales spend thousands of dollars on them, driving them to destitution by taking advantage of their gambling addictions. Microtransactions were a mistake.
Dumb and completely irrelevant question but do you still use Vegas 7? I remember you saying you "were born with Vegas 7 and you'd die with Vegas 7", but that was years ago and I was wondering if you'd moved on from it.
So this got me thinking regarding to Angry Birds and the swine flu. Does that mean that the birds have bird flu and we're going to see who is more deadly
We have both talked it out and apologized to each other since all that crap. There's no hard feelings between us anymore. Won't change that I'll steadily get angry fanboys on my videos forever but such is life
Stu: "There... open it."
Roscoe: "Meow" [translated]: "No."
USELESS I tell you
In this episode Stu beats a cat and forces another to do hard labor.
2 days ago?!? Did something odd happen when posting?
fart labor
I see we have a time traveler in the comment section.
"You know what I can spend hundreds of dollars on?"
I don't know, Sabrina Porn?
Sounds nice to me.
Based
“He pulls out out his Samsung Galaxy that he bought in 2015. It still works. Why buy another one?”
I felt that
Emperor Lemon's video brought me here. It's cool that you still do stuff. Subscribed.
I love that joke against the raycon advertisement the most, They deserve being mocked!!!
Planets VS Zombies used to be by a company called Pop Cap but sadly EA bought them up in 2011 :/
This is probably one of your best videos yet.
Ya know what stu, I initially subb'd for YTP, but I really like your game videos. Brings me back to the good ol days of UA-cam. Keep it up fellow southern brother 💪
9:27 as a Swedish person that is actually not that bad of a Swedish accent, good job Stu!

I still remember Sabrina

Yeah Bose are awesome!
If you're going back to your roots, does that mean you'll bring back the theme song, maybe? I really miss that theme song.

Great episode, Stu! And I'm looking forward to the Sunday that your next one shows up in my subscriptions!
I love the High Pitched Talking Tom joke.
6:00...you had me there for a second...holy shit.
1:30....good sir, I don't appreciate being called out this hard...hell, that only half describes me and I still am shocked. XP
Stu, it’s 4 o’clock in the morning, why are you uploading this late?
Because uploading is my life
Nicely done, and bravo for your courage with these "games"

Brilliant. A masterpiece of a video. Thank you.
Check out grim quest, it's a roguelike developed by one of my friends and it's really well made.

Who the fuck is that handsome bloke ProjectGodzilla?
Slash for Angry Birds? How about Krokus for Frogger? It could happen!
Oh I hope he talks about my favorite mobile strategy game; Age of Clash of Clans of Empires of Kings of Kingdoms of Lands of!
Another great episode!

Microtransactions were a mistake.
I really liked this video.
Shit how dare you force me to start checking your channel every sunday
Idea, Saints Row Reverse Chronology Series? From highs and lows, to see what made it great.
Welp, the mobile port is no longer the worse version of Vice City
