It originally had a yard and trees? I can imagine children playing under the trees. The furniture still with tags, could be in a furniture store that some dolls shop at in a little mini story. It's a beautiful house and furnished with precious things and memories. I admire those outside steps. How blessed you are!

😭🥰❤️ I don't know where to begin; too many heartstrings were struck to even know! What an indescribable act of love and humility from Aunt Shirley's family😭😭!! How wonderfully beautiful! My church community is similar to yours, we have Mother's as well. Beautiful, precious, humble women of God who impart their quiet wisdom to everyone, but especially the younger women. I didn't grow up in that type of environment and when I followed my mother in law, one of the most incredible Lights I've ever known, I became aware of love I never knew existed! The Sister's and Mother's I've been connected to are so very near and dear to my heart, as you well understand ❤️ When I saw the tag on that bed, I only got a short glimpse and I was so hoping there would be a better shot! "Frankenmuth"!!! 😂😍 My step father was from Lansing and he introduced my mother's to the city where Christmas never ends!! Every year they went to visit his son's and beautiful keepsake ornaments were brought back to my sister and I!! I have a half dozen glass pickles 🤣! Enough for my son's and the grandkids LOL They always went to Brauner's and before the time of cell phones, a good ole Kodak captured the beauty. The house is priceless and precious, just like it's new keeper and I can only imagine the beauty and love you'll be showering upon it in this newest chapter in its history. One thing you might consider is writing down the history and story of the house and the contents, and any renovations you may do. Make note of the furniture pieces, where they were purchased, an approximate date, their maker if known. Anything you add, be sure to document as well and if something specific was made for a room maybe write a few lines as to why it was made and needed. Be sure to tell the story of the Doll's who live there as well. I think it would be so amazing to have that special information, to look back into the house's past and know it's life.

Hi there! There is a glue called Tack it over and over. Which a temporary glue. Or permanent glue. I have also seen tiny wooden blocks inside curtain valance with wax. I don't use roods at all. I glue my curtains directly to the window frames ( just above where it can b concealed if I decide to change curtains.☺️💖 Hope this helps. I do have several curtains video check my playlists.
