- This Victorian dollhouse was custom built by Ron Clanton based out of Utah Salt Lake City. He built it in the 1990s for a woman who was a huge collector. Then it was auctioned off and now I have it.
This will be so fun watching you remodel/decorate the home!! FUN!!
also the lights! That is the part hopefully having done by early October.
what an outstanding piece of craftsmanship. I want to live there. Thanks for the tour, MollieAnne. By the way, I am now a subscriber. Looking forward to more of your videos Tee
oh thanks so much!
🎉what a lovely house🎉 I'm a new sub from the uk 😊x
thanks! And welcome to my channel ❤
Beautiful house. Do you know Ron Clanton houses are very collectable
One lady I know from Greece has another one of his houses. She told me about this one. I am not sure how collectable they are. But I do love it because he built it like a true craftsman. It is very well made. I never buy things for the resale value so do not know the market on the houses.
@@mollieanne I'm not sure on the resale either as I'm in Australia. Just thought you should know about it before you make too many alterations :)
@@angieangie21 the house is not changing. I only furnish the home and putting in light fixtures. Most dollhouses are very depreciated in value. Not a good market for them in the U.S. so I do not do this for any kind of investment. Just for fun and my hobby 🙂❤
How will you hide the wires?
Good question and one I struggle with. I am looking into ordering the moldings sold online at miniature dollhouse sites or maybe even on etsy. They are coverings for wires. But not cheap and will be a pain to put in.
It is called a channel www.etsy.com/listing/972506683/dollhouse-miniatures-channel-molding?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=molding+for+dollhouse+wire&ref=sr_gallery-1-12&sts=1&content_source=5c9888df096c6f53941134cd69d322074a18ae4e%253A972506683&organic_search_click=1
