Hermitcraft is a Minecraft SMP server featuring some of UA-cam's best and most talented Minecrafters. The server is 100% Minecraft Vanilla 1.20.4! This is Hermitcraft Season 10, and we are joined by two new Hermits, Skizzleman and Smallishbeans.

@DarkAlgae yeah, I always watch videos with earbuds for this exact reason. Otherwise, I feel like I can't catch everything, especially listening to conversations between multiple people.

Martha fills the area very nicely next to Imp's quartz shop and Beef's basalt shop, was a good decision!

I'm absolutely loving season ten so far. I'd say its my favorite, second to season six, when I started watching. I'm enjoying the sense of community this season, and this is the best shopping district yet imo. Best of all, the hermits themselves seem to be enjoying themselves a lot this season, and it shows.

I think it’s really awesome how hard you’ve tried to incorporate other hermits build styles into the new shop so everything looks cohesive, it really shows great attention to detail!
Thanks for sending me on a google search journey about Pig milk Ren. In case you were wondering, it tastes bad and is very very difficult to harvest, so it's not worth it for human consumption.
Martha is a fantastic name! The build looks imposing and radioactive. I like the new path connecting different parts of the shopping district and how it all heads to and comes out from the beacon shop. It’s like a beacon… for the industrial shopping district!
Doc is such a good sport. Relegating him to skyblock on the Hermitcraft server was brilliant xD

Martha is awesome, just similar enough to feel on brand with your base, but different enough that is doesn’t feel like the same build all over again. 10000% on point 👌🏻

selling skulk is very on-brand for Gigacorp with their own containment practices (á la Squirtapods) ! so excited to see MARTHA and the attention to detail is incredible , love your work always
Still need to sell conduits. Maybe make the shop look like some sort of terra forming device making an oasis around it

I think the sculk could be a cool sub plot of giga corp. Like there could be “containment areas” around the server like you were covering it up, sculk growing in hidden places around your base, etc
Says how terrible and unprofessional he is at this game then proceeds to show us the coolest crane build I've seen to date. Sir, you ARE a professional.

I really like the industrial corner of the shopping district! I’d like to see the rest of your shops be transformed into this style including the alien plant invasions that seem to plague your base and shops!

Martha does fit in nicely- not too small to not be noticeable from afar or too big to distract from the other builds/shops.
People tend to not need Skulk often, but when they do, they use a lot of it.
Me, seeing all those copper trapdoors: I guess we now know for sure why X's shop has sold out so quickly

It's amazing how you have grown build wise in the past 12-13 years. All the way from that Hole in the hill (The Mole Hole), to Kingdomcraft, to Hermitcraft. You're the best Ren. Such an awesome builder you have become.

I just adore this whole biome. The way it segregates itself yet still fits in with the other Hermit bases is so well achieved. Bravo Ren. ❤
I really love all of the little 'lore' details that you put into the builds. Something as small as the 'contamination' around the containment units adds so much to the overall story of the build. It's a reminder that the tiny details can make a huge difference in how immersive the experience is.
Martha looks freakin' AMAZING and is a lovely transition between Tango's, Impulse's, and Beef's shops. But the amount of copper needed for all those trap doors makes me wanna cry, and I didn't even have to mine it!
I love how such an intimidating and ominous machine has been given such a sweet grandmotherly name lol, lorewise it feels like the operators of Martha named her that as a way to make her feel somewhat less scary to the new recruits XD
The block palette fits in well with the other builds in the area, but also the *shapes* fit in well too! The spiky bits inspired by Tango's shop, it's a vehicle that fits with Impulse's quartz truck, but the containment pods? The containment pods have almost Gothic pillar vibes, and the actual forms fit well with Xisuma's copper cathedral!
Giga Corp: “we are being very careful to contain the squitapods”
Also Giga Corp: *just chucks some in the middle of the shopping district* what could go wrong?

if im being honest. Doc has his reasons to destroy the world. when a reasonable man were push to his limit by unreasonable circumstances. Thats a villain backstory.

you could integrate a small minigame aspect to it, where you can buy a couple of enchanting bottles that the player can throw at a regenerating stone floor to turn it into sculk, then they can harvest as much sculk as theyve just created
Ren I really appreciated the stream talks with scar the other night! Your a very humble guy with a good perspective on life and I valued the stories and wisdom!

Something I’m loving with this season’s shopping district is the different sections and biomes like legislative/industrial or desert/gigacorpification forming. I think that was something from the season 7 that really pushed for cohesion with the madness of the shopping district, and I’d say go all in on terraforming and theming (to the best that works for all hermits of course!)

I have to say, I’m loving the builds this season, they’re getting better and better and they all go together so well! I love the details on this one, I can only imagine how much time it took to design and build!

Doc could easily "cheat", with a OP loophole
All he needs to do is dig up the block he wants to walk on, then place it back, that way he can travel around the server and be able to do things normally. maybe even get to his base and take some goodies.
It can backfire though, if someone else removes the blocks and places them back without doc knowing.
This was because the rule was: You cannot walk over any pre-existing blocks. so if he mines them and places them back, its no longer pre-existing.
I mean... He does have a double chest full of cobble with his fully automatic cobble gen, so he doesn't even have to remove the path, he can just make long cobble slab briges XDDD
I’m really enjoying your builds this season, Ren. The custom biome is so creative and those machines are marvels. Keep it up. The lore is fun too. I’m enjoying seeing you lean into it!
Every year, I take a couple of months in a row not eating meat. It's generally pretty easy, except when I smell bacon. Steak is rough too, but bacon is on another level. Besides that it's so easy to mix with other dishes where you feel like it enhances everything (as opposed to just adding steak in something just to add steak). For those reasons, I would say that bacon is my superior food.

30 episodes!! I love this season so much so far, and I'm always excited to see what comes next! I love the shop SO much, the subtle sculk corruption of the ground using mud with cyan and dead plants is so cool!!
By your lore, don't forget the walls so the squirtapods don't entire take over the area...

Its Sunday morning and a storm is rageing outside, the rain is battering my tin roof and windows. The trees outside is dancing in the wind. I have a large cup of steaming coffee and my favorite youtuber has posted a video. Life is pretty sweet right now!
