I'm very interested in this treatment. I'm 55 and drink every 3 days. It's usually 1/2 case of beer. (I've even seriously thought about switching to wine to feel more sophisticated about my uncontrolled drinking, but I HATE wine! LOL!) Anyway, I've always had a binge drinking problem, but managed to stay very fit, healthy, raised 3 great kids as a SAHM, kept spotless home, worked out, ran.... etc. I've been researching naltrexone and am very interested, but am concerned about side effects. I take no medications. I'm wondering what your experience is with side effects or side effects that you've seen others experience on this med.
Thank you for being so passionate about this method that has given you so much success!

I took naltrexone daily for 6 weeks. I tried but couldn't discern any side effects on days I didn't drink. The cravings and preoccupation with my next drink disappeared. Go see your doctor or join up with Thrive. I'm still in awe of the results.

There are some other videos that talk about potential side-effects. I had a bit of nausea after taking the first pill (literally first one). Reduced dosage to half (12.5mg) for the next 4 doses and then up to full dose. Never had another issue or side-effect.
One thing to be sure you know is you cannot take opioids while on Naltrexone, and this includes Immodium AD (Loperamide) and some other medications that you might not know are in that family of drugs. Definitely get informed well by your prescribing medical professional.
