Happened to my 2013 just yesterday the bracket actually went forward and broke the plastic clips on the grill, I took off the bracket sanded the glue surface cleaned both sides I did put 4 nut rivet inserts bc there's 4 holes in the bracket and hood that for some stupid reason they don't use and just glue the shit together anyway put the rivets 4 bolts plus 3m 5200 glue , on both sides shit will never come apart again , such a dumb ass design freightliner engineers were smoking some good shit when they came up with that bs. SMH

yes it’s still holding you can use any size bolts you want you are drilling the holes 5/16 -3/8 just use grade 8 bolts and lock washers with loctite be sure you use wide washers on the fiberglass
