Hi Dr Morris, my new urologist is saying that morphology is not that important. More important to have much more sperm and it’ll even out. My wife’s OB is saying that strict Kruger is most important. This is very confusing. The urologist won’t order morphology. The OB (Kaiser) ordered one for me before and I was at 3% strict Kruger. Otherwise my analysis was fine. Should I really push for morphology to see if my lifestyle changes have made a difference ?
Like the other parts of a semen analysis, morphology has some importance but it is not an "all or none" phenomenon. However, I don't know of any good evidence that lifestyle changes will cause low morphology to improve

Natural pregnancy is possible. Recent data suggests that morphology may not be very helpful at predicting male fertility
