I'm signed in my wife's account so this might appear strange, but the sound of the starter whirl and the 2 or 3 pops when she cracked off made me smile. born and raised on a farm in Ne. I cut my teeth in JD 2 cyl. tractors. We had a 56 model 60 and that's a sound that's etched in my memory forever. My first job running a tractor was harrowing the fields just before sowing wheat in the fall, i ran 1944 hand crank A I had to be carefull not to kill it cause I wasn't big enough yet to roll the flywheel to restart it.Had other 2 cylinders as well but they were my faves.
Man I could watch this all day.
Wow, thank you for sharing.
Ah the memories! Move a lot of snow and manure with this exact set up in my youth working for a local farmer in N Iowa..
fun machines to operate! Thank you for watching👍
The ol girl does a good job
Love watching the old classics work. .nice job ☺
Joe R thanks for watching man!
Didn't know "3" wheeler tractors could even handle a front loader.
Always thought that'd be too unstable for anyone to even bother trying, but that actually works a treat.
Cool video!
Starts right up. What a tractor.
The good ol" Johnny poppers! Music to my ears. I ran an MT, model A, B, 520 to name a few. Great old tractors.
Great video,i put the loader trip handle on the left side to keep my right hand on the clutch,on my 45 loader
thanks for watching
got to love the sound of a 2 cylinder John deere. my dad had an old JD model A and he said if it wasn't popping farting and carrying on it wasn't running right.
Gotta love those Jonny Poppers, fun, thanks for posting!
Definitely more efficient ways to get snow plowed, but loved seeing an old tractor getting it done!
Trapdoor yes sir! Nothing runs like a Deere. Thanks for watching
Dang, this sho' is amazing to watch from L.A.! Your Snowed-In Neighborhood must really Love you and your Trusty JD! Thought you'd scooped up a frozen white Kitty around frames 6:14 that appeared still stuck, to the right, in your Tractor Bulldoze Bucket!
good job glad to see the old girl working still
MrGiovannix12 yes sir! Thanks for the comment. Nothing runs like a Deere!
Plenty of power and good traction even without chains.
James Nauert yes sir! Nothing runs like a Deere!
Classic! Nothing runs like a Deere!
Thank god!!!
My Gramp's old green required a spin of the flywheel ( real old school). Cool Tractor
I used to push snow with a manual bucket similar to that, mounted to forklift (mounted to forks and lifted with the forklift carriage) If you left it unlatched and got the angle just right, you could really get down on to the pavement. Of course, if you were on gravel or broken pavement, you just had to lick it and push it around.
I invite you to Western. New York with your tractor. No not Buffalo, south of Buffalo where the belt lies. We get lake effect snow and the record stands at 8 feet in 2 1/2 day. I'm really not kidding. Great video, lets see some more.
VHO TECH thanks for watching! That must fun out were you live, is this new storm hitting you?
We get hit a few times every year. Because the Lake Erie water is above freezing, we still have evaporation. With the cold winds blowing across the length of the lake, the high humid air turns to snow and drops on us in western New York (Buffalo). Usually we get a few inches of snow and then nothing for a week or so. It takes a few hours to clean it up and life goes back to normal. Once in a great while we will have a dry winter. But, a few years back, we took 8 feet (not drifts) in 2 1/2 days. A lot of buildings collapsed and people died trapped in their cars. We made the national news for the entire week. There are some pretty interesting videos on UA-cam. As for you, I really enjoyed your video. Stay warm and take care, Dave at Hamburg, NY.
This is so sweet.
Jody Reeder thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed!
That engine sounds very nice, good healthy sound. Good demo.

mike cubes heck ya! Nothing runs like a Deere!
mike cubes mine has a jd bottle and a can of wd40!
Stream,tractor
Bvb jcb t.c hitter rex on ccu St. Km k bird week vvvbkiom
Sounds amazing. Are you running a thin oil in the engine?
I have a 1951 B John Deere I use for snow and a ton of other stuff and I have the same loader John Deere 45
Here is a hint
for mud or snow flip the front tires over and mount the rims on the hubs from the other side
It will give you about 4 more inches clearance between the front tires
Nothing runs like a Deere :)
MRJOHNDEERE3720 yes sir, thanks for watching!
ur welcome :)
Nothing runs like a Deere
Danny Hoffman except a FARMALL
Danny Hoffman with a Massey up it's rear!
That brings back memories of clearing out the farmyard when I was young. We had a wide blade or the regular manure bucket, did you make the bucket wider?
Lee Peterson nope it is a John Deere snow bucket for the 45 loader
I was blown away with the easy start ...did you have a block heater to warm her up or just putt putt and bare fire ?
I was waiting for him to hit a curb and go flying up on the hood......... Been there done that.
The slower the better.
Nice....
she's beautiful..
Harley wishes it sounded like a Deere. ;)
What kind of pump is that? It's awesome that it had an output shaft so u can still run the hydraulic pump but not have it interfere with your rear equipment
It just runs off the pto - if your tractor doesn't have "LIVE" pto then the pump stops when you clutch. All late 60's and newer tractors have live PTO now, it's so useful.
@2:30 lol, spend many hours looking down that long green nose as a kid.
l337pwnage it's a great sight👍🏻
Always thought a guy needed three arms to plow snow with a 2 cyl JD.
Doodles haha very true, thanks for watching
Yes he operated this as good or better than anyone else I have ever seen plow snow with one of these.
bet the neighbors love you
thastinger345 haha right on!
Hey is it C.A.R.B. compliant? Oh wait "F" C.A.R.B. Nice Rig.
Getting a bit ballsy with a crop row tractor haha.
P0tat07 hahaha always
Spring for a new muffler🙉
Actually just ordered one today!
@LocustMotorWorks I'm a 72-year-old with tinnitus. Your ears will thank you!
Putt Putt Putt
man how'd u get her start that good
jonathan hibbard we've always kept clean fuel in her and always taken good car of her, been a great tractor for us
Locust MotorWor
Locust MotorWorks well we got a 50 and 60and 70and our 60is a pain to go and we take good care of it
Wow that's very awesome collection of two cylinders you have! Nice 👍🏻
Dealer told me he thought it was something in the head. Some just start better than others. If you have an older magneto the spark has to be blue white color or they just will not start in the cold.
Lovely bit of camera waving! Hemm what was the story about again . . . . . .?
Classic old 2 cylinders!!!
Good grief..that's an antique..!!
You should let down the loader when not in use so you don’t ruin the seals and pump
Joeys Garage how would that hurt the pump?
@@nutvhusker We always let any hydraulic equipment down when parking for safety reasons. They will leak back through the system. I don't know that it would hurt the pump. It would put pressure on the hoses and such.
the wind noise spoils it all
It’s snowing 😂 blowing 😂& cold!
has a 9 million pound flywheel for torque
marion cobaretti haha torque is key
Why don't you put sides on it open it up make it wider what a higher BAC
Where about sin the Arctic are you?
it isnt a farmall, but its doing a nice job!
Too lazy to broom it off first?
Sounds like you might be just a little bit on the critical side! It’s a young kid proud of his tractor, there’s nothing lazy about this kid!
That is one ugly machine wiith that loader hanging off the front.....but it gets the job done. Nice work!
