Behold the new Link 2 that is gonna replace Unicorn and slot in every deck
It’s a link 2 with un-ironically infinitely more value than link 3 unicorn. It’s a double interruption if you make it with IP on their turn instead of 1 like unicorn, and it also comes back every turn to be another interruption. Power creep at its absolute finest, you can’t find a better example. unicorn reads - 2 monsters, discard a card for targeting removal that prevents floating, and draws a card IF it was co linked. SP reads 2 monsters, can’t kill opponent the same turn BUT free targeting removal OR gy hate OR combo extender (banishing a monster from your GY for nemeses cards for example) AND 1 interruption OR protection from interruption every single turn. Unicorn is seething.

@@BigCheechin s:p is obviously way better than unicorn but the card itself is still pretty fair and healthy imo. it’s usually a link 3 to get the banish effect since not every deck has link 1s and it has Low ATK so it doesn’t force you to play into its effect especially in simplified game states. I’d honestly ban I:P before S:P since it just makes the card good for going first
dont forget this is the first and only format where both sp and elf are simultaneously legal, we may see some forbidden combo soon

The only actual positive to SP in master duel is that new price tag of 30UR points.

That was obvious, the card's expensive in the TCG, but UR is the max. Rarity in Master Duel, so it's better than the real card's price imo
big difference between a digital card to an actuel IRL card that u own but yes the blame the tcg community for ballooning the prices like crazy
It's basically a free staple since they've semi-limited WANTED and we can just craft it along with the new salad link 4
With the speed in which they release new cards in a few months Master Duel is just gonna be TCG with a different ban list

LightDragon - Duel Enjoyer is really good. Blue-Eyes, Archfiend guides, etc.
drytron can use this card very well because this can make sure to negate imperm effect on rank1 xyz making sure the boss monster is in gy, the body is irrelevant because you can always summon multiple Drayton names for ritual summons anyways

Something to note about S:P is that, ya can attack directly then summon and use her on summon effect to banish during Main Phase 2
But you can't. If you attack directly it won't let you activate the on summon effect

If you mean soft once per turn/once while on the field, no. The card says each effect of "s:p little knight" once per turn so it's hard once per turn

I've been playing it since the last pack but but it's been letting me down
I've never played chimera, but so long as you're not locked by anything, sp is gonna be good. Whether you can make her with ip or not you can still use her as a turn 2 card to break boards

What if they made link monsters only count for their link rating? Like a link 2 counts as only 2, never as 1 monster unless specified by the other monster you are linking into. So ip could never go into sp
Honetsly, I feel I:P has been a bannable card even without S:P.
