Don’t worry I think it’s still very swollen, give it another year I’d say to get a more accurate result, you’re beautiful 😍

I underwent three septorhinoplasties. Yes...THREE. I'm currently recovering from the third because I was devastated with how it looked after the first two plus I couldn't breath any better. I'm not saying you need it, but something that needed to change with my nose that didn't get touched the first two surgeries was the alar base. In simple English that would be your alar "nostril area" brought inward so the base of your nose will be much thinner (especially when you smile). This can be done under local anesthesia, so I've heard. Just an idea if you want a change without undergoing another procedure! I too would say TAKE YOUR TIME CHOOSING A SURGEON! I went with the first surgeon I met with just because I was "desperate". Bad idea.

D S thank you so much for this! I’m definitely open to another surgery and I’m now learning my lesson with taking time to research. I hope your recovery is quick and that you heal beautifully! Thank you so much for the insight as well, I definitely will bring this up with the next surgeon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

You look absolutely beautiful, from the front, side top or down. You are amazing just the way you are and don’t let anyone ever tell you something different.

Looks a bit swollen still probably will become more defined in a years time. Anyways it still looks very good, matches your face and doesn't look like you've got work done. I think it may be because of your ethnicity the swelling is taking much longer to resolve, anyways you're gorgeous hope it all works out for you in a years time!

And what about the whole process of swelling going down and nose appearance changing ? Sorry if my english is bad, I’m from Bosnia. I had my surgery 16 days ago, my nose looks ok. Not perfect, but it’s still early to judge. How does the swelling goes down by time, I can’t imagine my nose any different from now... What changes the most? I’m ok with my tip, but i have a little hump on my bridge... Do you think it could be swelling or that area won’t change? Btw your nose looks great and I wish you all the best 💋

I'm 2 weeks post op (septorhinoplasty) and in SO swollen still. I have horrible bruises under my eyes and on my jaw. Still! Lol. Bruise like a peach. I go back to work in 3 days, and I totally agree, 2 weeks is not enough.

Drink a lot of water and smoothies that should reduce ur bruises...I agree 2 weeks is not enough time to go back to work..

It really isn't enough time, I was booked off again because I was in pain. I took antinflammatories. How is everything now?

Your nose is perfect! it’s what I wanted. I just got mine done....I still have my cast on...I feel like it’s turned upwards....did you ever feel like it was turned upwards too much at the start?

Layla Hadidi I have the same problem, just got my cast removed and look super piggish. Most people say that it will drop down quite a bit after the swelling goes down but I can already tell that my surgeon overcorrected waaaay to much. If you feel yours is only slightly too high chances are good that it will come down to a reasonable level 😊

It eventually goes down, thanks to gravity. But it depends, some surgeons really like dramatic results. My best friend got a nose job done like 2 years ago. Her nose looked really "piggy"-ish but now it looks normal, really natural. But if you talked to your surgeon before about all the details & let them know you wanted something not that "crazy" or noticeable, you're fine! Also, the swelling only fully goes down in about a year.

Very pretty, I actually like the tip of your nose. Have you had anything else done besides the nose?

Were you candid with your surgeon about feelings at your follow-up appts? Here it seems like you were not really happy with it. Yes, small changes and details can emerge past one year out, but from what I've read up on, the nose at 1 year is pretty much your end result. The fact that you were still holding out hope for more change is a big signal. No nose is perfect, but you went through a lot to get it done. You'd be well within your rights to let your surgeon know if you were displeased and seek a remedy (partial refund, revision, referral to an expert to do a touch up, etc).

It sounds like your turbinates have been removed. Watching your old videos and listening to you now, you sound dry. This can cause sinus infections. Go to an ent and see if your turbinates were removed.

Pierrette Mercier thank you so much for the advice! I’ve actually gotten a couple of sinus infections after my surgery so you are onto something. Thank you so much ❤️

Were you nervous about anesthesia ? I'm nineteen (nearly 20), I've been wanting a rhinoplasty for the longest but I'm very nervous about the general anesthesia because I've never experienced with it, and don't know how I'd react to it. What's your thoughts?
