@Dave A. Um, NO. Not all open rhinos have permanent external scars. It all depends on the surgeon and the patient's skin.
I don’t watch your videos but I want to say your new nose is absolutely freaking beautiful. It fits you perfectly. Your mid face looks super balanced.
I also notice when skimming your old videos- the rhinoplasty definitely helped out with your philtrum length and seem to make your tear ducts look sharper/perky. The foreign sensation you’re feeling is probably your new nose not being used to that sort of expression. I think over time once it heals and making expressions, it will adjust/settles.
Oh and Cali definitely has very expensive costs for rhino. I know in NC It’s 4K-7k range
everything in California is crazy expensive
@@BeautyMarqued hi your results are amazing. This gives me hope. I’m four weeks post op and my nose is bigger and wider and I’m freaking out. Do you have a period of wtf did I do? Could this be indicative of a problem. It doesn’t feel any smaller 😞so idk if my doctors is “more conservative” or if I have another big nose that’s taking a different shape. Thanks for your videos. Hi! For your information, the "clogging up" while sleeping is normal. It is actually a natural and extremely useful adaptation (for example for swimming, sleeping so something wont go inside on the ground side, etc)

Your nose is absolutely perfect!! But $9000?! Omg I paid $1800 in Iran to one of Iran’s best surgeon. My surgery went perfect! Tiny tiny bit of bruising and no puffiness. No pain at all and healing is perfect. Idk if I was lucky or if my body took it very well, but the surgery was painless. Best part is my nose looks so natural, I’m post op 3 weeks.

It went great!! My nose had previous injuries to it so there was a lot of work to be done . It looks beautiful

Hi.I love your nose!! it totally fits your face and so natural. I had my rhinoplasty 5 weeks ago, and still have trouble breathing. so glad that you mentioned it will get better by time. I have a question, did you use anything for your scar? I mean to heal it faster. I just used the antibiotic on my stitches for first week and then my doctor didn't prescribed anything for scar healing, like creams or something. Thanks for sharing your journey
I didn’t use anything for the scar either . just made sure not to touch it

Great video, I just had my surgery a month ago with Dr. Kosins my nose is still very swelling but overall I'm so happy with the results. Dr Kosins is the best!!!

Depending where you live it may not be expensive as you think. My rhinoplasty was just under $2k. That's nothing. And 3 weeks off work. Not bad either especially if you have short term disability benefits with your employer so you continue to get paid anyway.

Hi all, so my rhinoplasty was in november and im actually very happy. I would say you will see the swelling going away once you will be at 4/5 months... you have to be very patient dont worry!! And for the tip mine was very up and i saw it going down at like 2/3 months. Actually my nose is as i like it just feels a little bit hard on the tip when i touch it (the surgeon said it can take 2 years to go away!!) and when its very hot in the morning i feel it is big (swelling) but its very nice. Just stay patient and dont hesitate to take pictures even if you dont appreciate it right know i swear you will see the evolution!! 😘😘

I don’t know how long after right now -for me it was relatively quick I had my initial consultation about 1 month 1/2 before my surgery - so it was quick

3-4 months when I could sort of see the final result. But it depends on the thickness of your skin. I have very thin skin.

@beautymarqued Your nose looks amazing!!! If the scar bothers you, try aloe vera or biopur oil. It will help with decreasing the visibility of it.

So funny you mention that .... the first few weeks after my cast Came off I would wake up super oily all over my face - mind you I have dry skin - it was great my skin had never looked better and now it’s back to dry most of the time I notice when it is more swollen I get oily on my nose
Beautymarqued haha now with my already oily skin pre op it’s a nightmare for me! I can’t keep any kind of foundation on, I have spoken to my surgeon and he said it’s normal due to trauma and swelling but still I have never heard anyone mentioning that on UA-cam!

Have you experienced any problem in breathing or any type of other pain after the surgery?
This is a legitimate question because I am doing loads of research in preparation for this. How would you get blackheads off your nose since you essentially cant touch it? I have bigger pores and get lots of blackheads so I dont know how to adjust for the rhinoplasty.
Yes my nose was pretty grimy for the first week or so before my cast came off. You can try exfoliating once you are able to wash your face but gently as your nose will likely still be sore.

i hate my nose more than i've hated anything in my entire life. i want a nose job so badly but i'm only 14 years old and nose jobs are so expensive :(
Talia Henderson There are many more important things to worry about at such a young age sweetie- although I never liked my nose I was able to be confident in other aspects of myself one of them being my intellect. Outer appearance is minor and I didn’t change it until 25 because it was not a priority. Believe me changing your nose will not change your life. Focus on bigger goals for now and when you are old enough and still want to do it then consider all your options. Don’t worry about it now. 😊

iTeapea I have very thick oily skin, and just had surgery with Dr. Kosins as well! So far I’ve been liking the results. I’m trying not to obsesses in front of the mirror like it’s suggested. Just yesterday I began feeling like my nose looks kind of bigger, not as sloped as I liked from one side. yesterday & today I analyzed it too much I think after reading a comment about another patient of kosins saying thick skin takes longer to heal, made feel a little better...I mean l feel like that side of my nose looks bigger, when it should be getting smaller. This the first time I feel like somewhat kind of worried. But I’ll try to stay calm. I had surgery almost 3 weeks ago...

Danna Rivera your nose will always swell and deswell especially because we have thick skin! It’ll take ageeees for swelling to go down! Don’t worry!

I have a question. Today I went in for my RhinoPlasty consultation. We did the digital things and all that. When you were quoted your price, DID you feel guilty? My total is about 9300 dollars. Hi , is nasal exercises also known as digital exercises to the nose recommended right after cast and splinters are removed? My nose was broken during my surgery, I’m assuming massaging helps out with the swollen and contour to the nose so that it doesn’t shift with time.
Christine Garcia I wasn’t told to do any massages but my nose wasn’t broken the technique my doctor used is Called piezo surgery which is different from breaking the bones so maybe that has something to do with it
Beautymarqued thank you! I’m so stressed out , I tried the exercises without my doctor approval. But yet other surgeons recommended it and base off my cousins experience. Yikes . It’s been so difficult to get a hold of my surgeon. Hopefully those exercises doesn’t cause any changes.

Do you mean like strangers and such ? No. If someone were to ask me I would say ya absolutely. If the conversation happens to steer toward plastic surgery yes I mention it. Everyone in my family knows, friends, friends of friends , coworkers - I mean pretty much everyone etc. I am very open about it 🙃 hence sharing it on UA-cam.

OMG same thing happened to me!!!! he said he was gonna relax me and put the thing in my IV and then i knocked out
he was like it’s like taking 3 glasses of wine and i was like 3?? i get really drunk off of 1 glass so this just might knock me out and then they all started laughing and that’s all i remember omg and i was in the waiting room

Anyone here have a nose job and had asymmetrical nostrils afterward? Mine to start with were not really that asymmetrical, but after the surgery it was one of the first things I noticed. One month post op now and a lil better but still noticeably different. The doc basically told me to not even worry over it yet bc my nose is still settling. And then went on to be like “oh you know your nostrils before we’re both different ‘in their own way’” and it was like.....not the most reassuring answer. Help. Lol.
