Instead of creating pressure on state government and corporation for infrastructure and other basic necessities ... Don't you think that government should focus on other cities also.. Because pune is not growing naturally as we all know, there are currently 15-16 operational "IT-ITES" SEZ in corporation PMC and PCMC corporation area.. Pune is being intentionally developed by few people. So instead of creating of overburden on resources of one city. Don't you think government should take Little shift to other cities.. As I am from nashik working in pune from last many years.. Nashik has all infrastructure available like good roads.air and rail connectivity. Still nashik doesn't even have single operational SEZ in history. I know it's failure of nashiks political leadership. But as state government should recognize it as potential city.. Because nashik has many small and midium size IT companies. But major players are still far away. If government notify single SEZ in nashik then also it can accommodate large amount of population who is working in that sector.. Eventually it will reduce the pressure on the PMC AND PCMC.. JUST suggestion
Totally agree with you. Because of a particular family playing emotional caste politics people all over Maharashtra vote for them and then in result they develop the area where they have there interest. Nashik, Kolhapur, Satara, Aurangabad and Nagpur can be next tier one cities of our state.
Mumbai's burden shared by Pune and now Gujrat .. when Pune becomes unbearable then Nashik will get it's due share... Maharashtra's government failed to plan and that is why Gujrat is developing now... anyway Nashik is also developing in own way.. not IT but in agricultural products and wine business, Nashik is doing great.. it wont need IT parks..

Hey Saudaghar, Many such parachute developers like JTP, Golitaire & many others are getting huge redevelopment sites in big chuncks in main Central Pune now where old construction is due for redevelopment.. Sad state is, residents simply forget to do analysis or homework before handing over such huge land parcels just by watching few newspaper ads & online commercials of such players..
Ravet is great place to buy property , becasue of DY Patil and Hinjwadi IT park, proximity to Pune Mumbai expway , PCMC , rental is also good .. only issue is pending decision on red zone bcz of Dehu cantonment board..
