how do you guys think you did?
I wasn’t expecting a 9 in my English language but it happened!! I only had a dream (an actual dream) of getting a 9. Thank you so much Mrs Lyon!!!!!

@@wendo____O hey thank you so much! yeah i pretty much do most of these, im just aiming for a 5 in maths at this point as i find it so difficult, i always do the papers correctly for revision and it’s like when it comes to the real thing my brain just freezes and suddenly i forget everything i just revised. it’s crazy.
Was so happy with my results:
English Language: 7
English Literature: 7 (kind of disappointed with English so I’m getting them remarked but I’m still happy with a 7)
Further Pure Mathematics: 7 (Thought I was going to fail cause the papers were so hard😂😂)
Biology: 9
Chemistry: 9
Physics: 9
Spanish: 9
History: 9
Islam: 9
Economics: 9
Geography: 9
French: 9
So happy with these results and you did amazing. 238/240 in math?! You’re probably in the top 1% there

gimme tips on how to get 9's in all 3 sciences
@@user-dz8we3cx4f, honestly, free science lessons genuinely helped me the most. He goes through every topic in the specification and covers all the details you need for the exam. I used him for pretty much any science exam I had throughout Y10 and 11 so the information would continue to stay in my head. Doing past papers and questions on physics and math tutor is also helpful just to show you actually understood and memorised what FSL was saying. When it comes to required practicals, best advice is to continuously write all the practicals on paper and do that until you can confidently write down the method needed. Everyone has different methods of studying but free science lessons for me was the most helpful

May I ask how you got the marks for each paper, mine just said the overall mark
I'm not sure, my school just sent us a document with both the number grades and marks next to them, I wasn't expecting the marks per paper either

let’s say u ask for a remark, when is the grade (potentially) corrected? would you receive another certificate with all the grades on them?
I have no idea, I think that it you get it remarked there'd also a chance of the grade going down too though

I was quite happy with my results. Got all 9s except a 7 in art. Really wanted all 9s but its fine. I somehow got full marks for further maths and lost 12 marks in the normal maths

when did u start revising
I started revising month and a half before, but we had 2 sets of TAGS this year that covered half the content each time so there wasn't much revision left to do for the actual exams as I did a lot for the 2 sets of mock exams
@@getriya so im in year10 going into year 11 and my goal is 7 9's and 3 8's and if i start revising in the beginning of yr 11 for like 55-6 hours a day do u think i will achieve it

That's a lot of revision, I don't think you need to revise 5-6 hours at the start of year 11, try to slowly work your way into revising more as that sounds like it would be very stressful, I personally didn't do much revision at the start of year 11 until we had mocks
me wishing i could get 9s but im foundation 🧍♀️ ive got gcses in less than a month
