I've never felt so close to Shelley untill now. It was as if, I felt him by the time we reached the end of the poem. I feel so connected to him now. He is surely immortal ❤️❤️
After this lecture, I'd say, that you're immortalizing yourself by creating these wonderful lectures which would help different set of eng hons students every year. Thank you ma'am!
Oh God! I love you Zoya. Those are such kind words.
I think the another meaning of the 4th stanza is - when he said "if even i were in my boyhood" refers to his boyhood in london and saying if he was in london then , he wouldn't call the west wind to pass his messages, he would himself go to the battle land and revolt, he then wouldn't need west wind to help him out to spread his message.
When I first read the poem , i thought it to be bleak and simple but after your profound explanation, I realised the greatness of the poem and poet. Thank you mam!
I fall so short of words to be in a position where I can avail such help from you so distantly via this channel . Indeed grateful! ❤️
Thanks a lot ma'am. No gratitude will ever suffice to what you are doing for universal students. I miss my college and university days, but with your lecture here ma'am i am being again able to get those blessed days back. Thanks a ton.
This has to be the best explanation ever. I had goosebumps when it ended. Many people can explain poetry, but only some make you feel it.
After ages... I saw a professor like you. I want to become like you in terms of teaching. I jst found you idk how... I think. You r the answers to my prayer of having a tremendous professor. In love with the whole style. N also the things that pop on the screen like meanings and all.
For whatever you see "popping on screen", all credit goes to my husband Suddhasanta
Such an effort demands huge appreciation and respect. Ma'am I can feel how much you love literature! I badly desire to deliver lectures like you do some day.😊
What an extraordinary lecture it is ! I have never felt that I have enjoyed the lecture in online platform.
You are a gem! Your explanation has revolutionized the listeners intellectually as Shelley had revolutionized the society. Love you 😘 ma'am!
Understanding literature definitely varies on how you look at the piece and I'm so glad i could find your channel ma'am. Thank you for making us think in depth about every word and every expression, we in general would have probably just overlooked. Thank you for making the texts easier for us to grasp. the outro almost made me tear up, the way you compared everyone who's rebellious in life and denies to go with the flow of the world with Shelley. Thank you so much, will look forward to learn so much from you about literature and life as i grow up.
Whenever I come across teachers who explain complex pieces with tremendous simplicity, I fall in love with literature once again. Thank you so much for this fabulous explanation ma'am. Deeply grateful to you for putting in so much efforts and carving out time to make this poem comprehensible. Honestly I began this poem with an intention to score in the exams, but turns out I enjoyed the process so much, that marks just don't matter now!
Looking forward to cover up 'History and Literature', one of my most dreaded topics, this summer, right from your playlists! Thank you so much. Lots of love ❤️🙂🙃.

Now I say , every human spirit should have brought the supreme endeavour of Shelley...the last part about Shelley and his soulmate is an honest communication and obvious document of Apex love far from this hoggish love vaulted with the shore of separation...by the way ma'am your explanations are indeed worthy of admiration and adoration ❤
Gratitude from my heart for your pure and selfless efforts 🙏❤️

Mam, plz provides all "LucyPoems" by Wordsworth..
Today, I have understood what the romantic poetry actually is.
The tone of your voice is like a west wind, tameless, Swift and proud.

You are so sweet my dear। Bless you ❤️❤️
thank you Ma'am 😊
Great!
Maam how can we by our own knowledge, understanding, mind can understand the poems? Like it takes so much attention to understand the real meaning.
Stay focused. Try getting meanings of difficult words written down first. Read aloud. It helps to get into the vibes of the poem. And read up some introductory materials if possible
Nothing to ask Madame, rather I will quote a line for you " It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.”
Mam.. Your videos are very useful for us.. Please make videos on As You Like It play..
Thanks a lot for helping us with your precious time..
Could you make a complete video please, on the poem The Tower by W.B. Yeats ?
Superb mam.
Thank you ma'am for describing this poem by “a man at war” so beautifully.
Ma'am, if you kindly take a little time to describe “Dejection : An Ode” by Coleridge it would be very helpful for us.
awsm😇
Gratitude ❤
Wonderful ma'am! 🤗 Please come with the lecture on - Ode on a Grecian Urn and The Waste Land if convenient. 🙏 Heartfelt thanks for this one. 😊
After this I am doing Skylark. I will start with keats right after that. Stay tuned. Waste Land is definitely in my plan. May be I will take it up after Keats if possible. Many have already requested.
@@NibblePop Looking forward to it.🙏
@@NibblePop ma'am can you please make a lecture on any poetry of 6th semester wbsu?? It'll help us
Thank you is not enough for you ma'am...your lectures always help me to get a better understanding....❤.. You are the best lecturer I have ever seen on UA-cam ❤️
Ma'am one request from me that would you please cover "The Way of the World" by William Congreve? Then that will be more helpful to me..😊
Thanks a lot mam
Wonderful explanation!
Nice to know you watched me teach west wind again after 12 years!!!
Though a period of 12 years has passed but it feels just now. I want to attend the class again and again. These videos works as a pill of refreshment. I can still remember how you analysed the poem "Kubla Khan". Make a video on that poem whenever possible.
Opening is colloquial in nature
Pro level mam🖤😊
Mam could you please make a video on the "The way of the world "by Congreve or" Robinson Crusoe "by Daniel Defoe. You can also make videos on both of them as I do not understand anything from my private tutor as well as college teachers. You are the one who is always very experienced tutor not just in kolkata, but in the country. May God bless you and give you a very happy life and sufficient time 😊to make videos on literature for us!
Will try
Mam, how do you come to know what discussion I needs at the very time?!
I am in continuity of following your videos from the very beginning of my graduation and I noticed whatever and whenever I need any content your videos are shown currently uploaded... It's really surprises me most!!☺️
1 % guess and 99% legilimens.
@@NibblePop Sorry mam, but what does the word 'legilimens' mean ??😅
Why don't u make more and more videos mam it was really an outstanding explanation. Fall in Love with the way u teach .
Please make videos on literary theory and criticism if possibl because your way of explaining things is quite awesome.
