Doing similar today and tomorrow. Purchased a double row LED fog and spot 8 inch bar. Fab'd up a mount and had my brother weld it up. $9.00 got me an Amazon special wiring harness with fuze, relay and switch. Total bill so far is less than $55.00 and that's less than an aftermarket mount alone.
Appreciate you guys posting this, as I can use this for the work commutes when the weather clears.

me? i fab'd my own mount. it appears the FL guys were able to use the light bar mounts thst came with the light. they put the links in to the light. all you'd need to do is some grinding or filing to remove the tab corner. hope that helps.
be careful of the light you buy. mine were hella cheap. i had to silicone everything to make it watertight, or water tolerable.

@@FloridaOutdoorAdv It took me a little longer than expected due to a bad wiring loom with switch. basically cut the cheap loom for the wiring and duplicated your blue wire lead. WOW! I had no idea what I was missing at night. When I commute here in Colorado it's early in the AM and I am sure I have passed some deer and elk on the side of the road and didn't know it.
Not anymore! Once again appreciate the great vid. Best of luck to you all.

thanks for making install easy ... Word to others the blue n black wire works, BUT, the bike has to be running if you are checking the wiring or for the light to come on ...

    Hey guys,
glad I found your tutorial, helpful enough-ish to me... I was hoping you can explain a little further which circuit was chosen (what that blue cable lights were hooked to does, how to find it... etc)
    Thanks again!

Nice install. However, without a switch, and it being 'always on' you're most likely going to be blinding drivers coming towards you, especially at night. If you don't want to use a switch, why not wire into the high beam circuit instead. And since motorcycle lights are always on when the bike is running, having the LED bar, also always on, creates a continuous load (drain) on the bike's electrical system. Anyway, just a thought. Cheers.

Old thread I know. But I just ordered this light for an ES model. Couple questions: 1) Are you still happy with the light? 2) Was it ok to keep them on without a separate switch? 3) At night do oncoming drivers flash at you because it’s too bright? Thanks. Nice work and great find!!!

Very nicely done. I'm thinking of picking this up for my '17 Super Ten. Does the plastic cover you removed at the beginning of the video fit back on once the light is installed?

@@FloridaOutdoorAdv I'm referring to the part that is removed at 0:50 seconds. But if everything went back on then that's what I was really needed to know. Thank you

¿De que tamaño es la barra? ¿de 6 pulgadas o de 8 pulgadas?

How is that legal to ride with bright headlights on all the time? No consideration for others driving on the road.
