With the stuff that you said earlier in the video, I'm glad you're pursuing making games and original content. Your Bionicle vids were dope, but you seem to have more passion in the stuff you personally created, and I hope that shit takes off for you 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

To clearify, when I say "closer to the 2010s stuff was better" I mean around the year not the decade. 2007-2012 was peak internet, anyone who says any year past that point is objectively wrong. Good stuff was made - but overall the downhill spiral happened.

I completely agree with commentary and complaining videos getting annoying, I can't stand them anymore, but thankfully I think things are changing. I've been seeing more and more creative people making new original stuff. Been enjoying your stuff since Truth About Bio-Tubers, loved both the Bionicle and cartoon Gako & Rio (if you ever feel inspired to make another cartoon, you have at least one watcher), and love your games too. They remind me of the golden age of flash games, and I'm especially looking forward to Break Beak, awesome demo. I've thought about the social media aspect for myself too, but social media is mostly just full of bots and drama addicts anyway, ultimately I think all that matters is if you're creating what you're passionate about. If you create what you love, the right people will find and enjoy.
As far as making videos about making stuff that doesn't take away from the creating itself, maybe a video with minimal editing or stream of you working on whatever you're working on? One of my favorite animators, Wardog, has done streams of his progress. Just an idea, I don't really know anything about making videos outside of the most basic stuff.

Super thankful for the support (you even know about the Break Beak demo, damn). You're right about making what you're passionate about - but it's 1/2 putting work out there and 1/2 putting it in the right spot. My whining in the latter half of the video can be summarized as "99% of social media platforms want everything to fit in a 'square hole', and all I care about are 'triangles' and 'circles.'
I did experiment with streaming a year ago for game dev work, sadly it dampened productivity on my end, and wasn't engaging for the viewer. Best results is when the stream has to focused on being a "stream" (like the ones I do with @CallanLoF on his channel) - but I'll give it another crack when I do the sculpting and printing content.

@@LarnuuWorks No problem! I've always loved your stuff, and Callan's and IDS's since first stumbling across old Biotube when I was a teenager. Even with what social media and video platforms "want" people to watch, there's always people who want something different.
I think sculpting and printing streams would do well, especially for those looking to get into doing that themselves. I've gotten more valuable information on how to do stuff on the more technical side of things from videos then I ever have from searching online.
