Thanks so much and keep up the great playing!
𝄢 Dan 🙏
Dan, of all the online teachers, your style is the most what I want to be. I love the way you groove on bass. You always make me realize I already know enough scales, it's just how I use them.
Thanks, John. You can definitely do it! Just try and create bass lines with those scales and shift to thinking and focusing on making music.
Dan your lessons are the best. ✌️
🙏
This is why I love you man you're such a great teacher Dan 😊 appreciated
Nice one Dan,brilliant 👍
He Dan. Thanks, now i have something to do on the Weekend 😂😂😂 you are a great teacher here. I have learnt so much in Short time. Thx for that. Greets Mike from germany. 😊👍
Happy to hear that - keep it up!
Fantastic lesson ❤
Love playing over that drum track. I uploaded it to Moises and it loops perfectly in there. One recent ah-ha I had is when playing in a minor key, play the first and then slide up to the third in second finger position and play the major pentatatonic of the third (yes I understand the third of the minor is the relative major). That completes the minor pentatonic of the first. So in this case Gm pentatonic---play G slide up to the Bb and play Bb major pentatonic. Elementary maybe but works for my brain and a new minor pent pattern for me at my skill level. Thanks Dan.
Great thing to do! 🙏👍
Excellent dan
I just got your Funk Bass course. It's good, not easy, that's how I know it's good ! In the past week I can see an improvement in my technique and groove awareness! Great value for the price of the course! Thanks much, Dan.
Thanks very much! Yes, definitely not easy. I like to push a little bit because I think that's how you improve.
I’ve been enjoying your videos for a few years now Dan, how about doing a video on your history as a bass player? Who got you into it, who’s your top 10 bass players? What bands or sessions you’ve been on etc? Have a great weekend and keep up the great work mate.
Thanks for the support over the years! I always think no one will care about that... The top 10 bass players is a nice idea though... Thanks!
@@OnlineBassCoursesi would love to watch that!
the Groove n. 1 is the grooviest of all
This is so fantastic and easy to follow. You have a wonderful easy styke and I love the spontaneity. Great stuff
Thanks, Duncan!
This is a great way to learn - gets you into corners that you have to figure a way out of and that's an essential skill for jamming with other people.
Tasty grooves, Sir. Thank you for the tips
This is great.
Thank you, Dan. Much appreciated.
Wasn’t a huge fan of your teaching style when I first came across your videos but I’m a huge fan now, will be getting your courses sometime soon
I'm happy you changed your mind. 🙏
Please can you also make video on bass setup and any pedal thats a must have

I’ve newly began to play bass, so your lessons would teach me lot i guess. Thank you very much!
My pleasure. Welcome to bass!
Loved that…R
You could always slow down a little for the accuracy Dan.
Just saying
Can’t really slow this 119BPM loop down though. But, yes, you can.
Dan, would love some private lessons. Are you available for online courses? 😊
Unfortunately not. Sorry! I’m full steam ahead with UA-cam, my site, and writing courses and books etc. Have you checked out any of premium courses? They do into quite a bit of depth.
Another great lesson Dan, love these grooves you create, 🔥🔥👌🏽🏴 Dan would you kindly do a lesson on a track by Chaka Khan, the track is ….. Move Me No Mountain, it’s a banger of a bassline, thanks 🙏
Thanks and I'll put it on the list!
@@OnlineBassCourses thank you 👍🏽
I’m not familiar with the Line 6 HX, but is that device making the drum/cymbal sounds while being driven by the bass?
Not sure what you mean. In this video? It’s just a drum loop and bass in Logic. Sorry if I’ve misunderstood!
I love just riffing until I find something cool then trying to breakdown why it works theoretically. Maybe not the most efficient method but it’s about the process anyway.
Just lower the tempo a tad...other than that... sounds good...but, yes...
