Chinna Chinna Aasai මේ චිත්‍රපටයේ ගීතයක්. මේ ගීතය එය නිකුත් වූ දශකය පුරාවට දමිළ බස දන්නා - නො දන්නා රසිකයන් අතරේ, ඉන්දීය සංගීතයේ සන්නාම තානාපති තනතුරක් දැරුවා යයි කීම අතිශයෝක්තියක් නෙමෙයි.
ගීතය රචනා කරන්නේ ඉන්දීය ජාතික කවියෙක් නවකතාකරුවෙක් සහ ගේයපද රචකයෙක් වන වෛරමුතු රාමසාමි. මලයාලම් සාහිත්‍යයේ ආභාසය සහ ඉන්දීය ගැමි ජීවන අත්දැකීම් ඔහු මේ වෙනුවෙන් යොදාගන්නවා.

මේ ගීතය චිත්‍රපටයේ පළවෙනි ගීතය වගේම රහ්මාන්ගේ පළවෙනි ම ගීතය!! රෝජාගෙන් ඇරඹී ඉදිරි සිනමා වසර පහේදී තවත් වසර පනහක් ඉක්මවන කාලයක් පුරා තුරුණු හදවත්වල වියපත් නොවන ප්‍රේමයේ නින්නාද ඔහු අතින් චිත්‍රපට උදෙසා නිර්මාණය වුණා. රහමන් ම වරක් පැවසූ පරිදි, 1995 තිරගත වූ බොම්බේ චිත්‍රපටය වෙනුවෙන් නිර්මාණය වන සංගීත ඛණ්ඩවල පළමු ස්වර කිහිපය උපදින්නේ 'රෝජා' වෙනුවෙන් සංගීතය නිර්මාණය අතරේදී.
මේ ගීතයේ ඇති සියලුම රූපක, චිත්‍රපටයේ සිටින රෝජා වෙසෙන ගැමි පරිසරයේ රූපක. මේ ගීතයේ දර්ශන සමඟ ගීතයේ සංගීතය කොයිතරම් අනුපාත වනවාද යන්න විමසිල්ලෙන් නැරඹුවොත් අත්දකින්න පුළුවන්. පොළොවට වැටෙන වැහි බිඳු, ගීතයේ සංගීතය විසින් ප්‍රතිනිර්මාණය කෙරෙනවා. ඒ වැස්සක් වැටෙන හඬක් නිර්මාණය කිරීමක් නෙමෙයි. පොළාපනින වැහි බිඳුවල හැඟීම සංගීතයෙන් නිර්මාණය කිරීමක්. අහන අපිවත් වැස්සක නටවන ස්වරමය වැහි බිඳු කීපයක්!
කඳු අතරින් ගංගාවක් ගලා යන දර්ශනයේ ඇති සංගීත කොටස්වල ඇති - කඳු අතරේ හැපී නින්නාද නංවන්නාක් බඳු පිරිමි කටහඬ, ඉන්දීය 'ධීවර කවි' ආශ්‍රයෙන් නිර්මාණය කෙරුණක්.
මේ ගීතය, චිත්‍රපටයේ සිටින දහ අට හැවිරිදි ගැමි යෞවවනිය රෝජාගේ තුරුණු හදවතේ විවරණයක් වගේ. මේ ගීතයේ ඇගේ 'පොඩි පොඩි ආසාවල්වල' ලොකු ලැයිස්තුවක් තියෙනවා. (ලැයිස්තුව කියවල බැලුවම 'හොඳ පොඩි!' වගේ හැඟීමක් එන්නත් පුළුවන්.) තුරුණු වියේ ඇති පොපියන බව, වෙහෙසට පත් නොවූ සහ කිසිදා නිම නො වෙතැයි සිතෙන ජීවිතාශාව ගීතයේ වචනයක් පාසා අප වෙත ගෙන එනවා.
අපි එකම සංස්කෘත මූලයන්ගෙන් වැවුණු අතු භාෂා නිසා මේ සමහර වචන අපිට කිට්ටුයි. ගීතය අසන අතරේ මේ සංෂිප්ත පරිවර්ථනය කියවමින් ඇහුවොත් ඔබටත් ඒ සමාන වචන අහුවෙයි. ඊට කළින් ගීතයේ මිහිරියාවට 'අහුවුනොත්' ඒ වචන මිස් වෙයි. හැබැයි ඒත් භාෂා බැම්මෙන් හරස් නොවුණු 'පොපියන ජීවිතාශාවේ හැඟීම' කිසිසේත් මිස් නො වෙයි.

I'm a 90s kid from Sri Lanka and let me tell you, this song was fire! Even though I didn't understand any of the lyrics, the beat and the happiness in the singer's voice were just magical. Everyone in my generation was hooked on this song. I remember dancing to it at my preschool's annual concert. Man, I wish we had video recordings back in the day!
