I wasn't too thrilled about Biden, but he's really accomplished a lot for the American people, with jobs and infrastructure, drug negotiation, oil/energy production is higher than EVER in history. He really wants to work together and get things done, and he knows how to do it.

Tell Speaker Johnson to vote for speaker Jeffries
Johnson should quit, the GOP loses the majority. Jeffries become the new speaker and their first act should be to pass that border bill. Cause it will get all Dem support plus some GOP support in both houses and sign by Biden. Then move on to repeal the tax cut to the wealthy, raise corp tax, establish a federal abortion rights, wipe some student loan debt, tighten labor union rights/org to not be bullied by companies, put the ACA on a path of universal coverage. Go scorch earth on making sure this government works FOR THE PEOPLE!

I don't like it either. But it is worth it to get the Ukraine bill passed finally.
Johnson’s best hope is to get support to pass the Ukraine 🇺🇦 Aid bill and keep him from being removed by his enemies. Currently the Republicans barely have a majority vote and few House members want to look like Ukraine haters on Election Day.

If Congress is looking for a new speaker for their House, they may want to consider Bose. Higher quality, good left-right balance, noise cancellation features, and they won’t have to replace it in six months’ time.

Excellent message from Rep Kildee, thank you for taking the time to articulate this so clearly. I would add, not only does Speaker Johnson have the responsibility to represent the entire House but, by default, he represents the entire nation since members of the House represent us, the people of the United States. Regarding the aid bill for Ukraine, there again, not only does the majority of the house and Senate back the bill, but the majority of Americans do, as well. The MAGA crazies are loud but they are NOT the majority. Sane, compassionate, reasonable Americans are, and they understand the real dabger to the US and the world of not propping up Ukraine in its fight against Putin--to say nothing of the horrific conditions the Ukrainian people are living in.
In addition, China is watching and taking notes as they consider if invading Taiwan is worth it. They were probably stunned that it's so easy to take the US out of a war.
