In 1985, we had a teacher at our school in New Zealand that would allow us to watch Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies at the end of the year close to the holidays, it was a real treat, we all crowded around a 17 inch T.V, we were all laughing at their antics. Simpler, happier times.
Those were the days when good comedy with action films would make our day. Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were a right pair who became a legend in their own. Sadly Bud has passed away and Terence is in his seventies now. Hopefully he is alive and healthy even now. I watch their films over and over again.
Timeless Movies with Bud and Spencer. I watched their Spaghetti Western Movies when I was 10.. I'm in my late 30', going 40, And I am still enjoying their movies. May Bud Spencer rest in peace. and Terrence Hill be well and healthy.
Me and my dad loved to watch Hills and Spencers movies and my dad is gone too now and I miss our movie times. I like when Hill and Spencer talks English because I am used to hear them in this language.
I , 92 years, enjoyed the film as if i were watching it for the first time. I had watched in the 70s. Old films are more entertaining than the present ones
Oh man the memories 😂😂🤣🤣 i used to watch Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer when i was a kid and im 50 now. Its hard to believe movies like this were actually on free to air tv when i was a kid here in Australia. Couldn't happen again and certainly not these days.
I have been watching the films of these two guys for 50 odd years, now maybe they are a bit dated and seem a bit corny but they are still great entertainment films, 10 times better than the woke PC sh*t they make now a days. Thanks for all the laughs I have just had.
What a fantastic movie-easily five stars! Definitely one of the best films I've ever seen. It's refreshingly free from unnecessary filler, just pure storytelling. I had no idea what to expect when I clicked on this movie, especially since it's an older film and I went in without any context. But I was captivated from start to finish. If you're reading this before watching, grab some popcorn, put your phone on silent, and enjoy the show!
Yeah, the Trinity series of films got me in to Bud and Terence movies big time in 80's and had most of their films on video right up to Troublemakers the last film the pair did together in 1994.Trinity Is Still My Name is the best they did imo and it's still the best selling Italian film to date. My Name is Nobody with Henry Fonda was an absoluet classic, saying that I loved all the Trinity films, they were obviously a play on what clint Eastwood was doing in Italy around the same time with Good , bad and Ugly etc but with it's own twist. Since downloads and computers came along I've downloaded every film they made to together. Sure they've aged but still fun to watch and very nostalgic.
Never realised they had so many fans around the world. Used to watch them in Saturday morning cinema shows back in the 70s here in the UK. Laughed so much. Very nostalgic to see them again. Innocent escapism to lift the spirits. Best wishes to all who remember them and their fun films. They always finished with a big crazy fist fight 😅😅
I think Hill Spencer films are famous because they capture the image of America as seen by Europeans. It's a very innocent and unsophisticated view and not very accurate but Americans love Hogan's Heroes for the same fantastic reasons.
from china. Jackie chan got hugely inspired by this duo and made some landmark films in Hong Kong beginning with Project A in 1980s. His career was slumping until then and he had no big major hits. He paired with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao and followed the formula of action and comedy as seen in Terence Hill and Bud Spencer films moving away from the wuxia genre. They took the eloborate fight choreography to even greater heights but their on screen chemistry does not match up with Hill and Spencer's.
Only found these guys recently from playing the video game they have. Only watched the Trinity movie and this one so far, really enjoyed both. Love the mix of comedy and series tones

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️😂😂😂😂😂😂😂It’s so true so true that the old some old films are better than some of the new film you can’t be an old comedy thank you for sharing it on UA-cam
Just discovered these guys yesterday, watched trinity first now this movie has me in tears. I need to watch everything these 2 were in, this shits so good
During my teen days there very famous I think I never miss a movie from these 2 funny but serious guys now it's time for remembering the past and enjoy my good old days and become young again
Terence Hill movies are funny because someone else dubs over his voice. Terence was not a native English speaker, so a voice actor come in and record everything he said with an American accent.
Both Terence Hill (Mario Girotti) and Bud Spencer (Carlo Pedersoli) were Italian of course. I believe that Terence Hill was fluent in English and Italian but was only allowed to do his own dubs late in his career (March or Die for example). Bud Spencer was always dubbed by other actors, even in the original Italian versions of his films (due to his thick Naples accent appparently). Kind of weird how the differing dub actors change the nature of the films tho.
I thought it was Bud who got dubbed over, Terence's English is fine. And the voice-over fits them very well, we watched classic movies dubbed in German for years on German tv here in Holland, with the same 2 people dubbing EVERY voice for every film for 20-30 years! It's very well done in these Bud Spencer movies, in the old days not everybody knew that they were Italian, I heard it only after years. On Dutch tv we watched them in English, and I never saw them as anybody else but Terence Hill & Bud Spencer, two American actors. But the Italians dubbed their own movies for years too, if you watch any Italian movie from the 50s -80s or something, they're all dubbed.. Sergio Leone movies, everything!
@@baronsaturday2103 Yeah I thought Terence did his own English dubbing too but apparently he was also dubbed most of his career. I checked before I posted my comment to be sure. Seems a waste to not use him when he was fine to do it himself.

All the way to New Zealand!😮

on the heels of the Italian "spaghetti western" flicks, I guess a "spaghetti cops" flick was a possible logical next step....
WOW, I'm LOVING this cop-show right-NOW ❤
In Hungarian or German the dubbing so much better. The voice absolutely matches the characters.
As a Hungarian myself, I can say it's absolutely true. 💯 ❤
They were filmed in English, but also dubbed in English, because some of the actors had a lot of accent.
