Negro Leagues Baseball Museum accepts apology from Oakland A’s announcer | Dan Abrams Live

An Oakland A's broadcaster who accidentally used the N-word earlier this month while talking about his visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum remains suspended indefinitely. The museum has accepted an apology from Glen Kuiper, who was attempting to highlight his visit and discuss the museum’s mission to preserve the rich history of African American players who weren't allowed in the major leagues when he made the mistake. Former Republican Senate candidate Joe Pinion, attorney Morgan Harper and journalist Rick Leventhal join “Dan Abrams Live” to discuss the incident.

He had just spent hours learning the hardships of which the black people had gone through , so I really doubt he would meaningfully say that word after just leaving that place. He was excited to talk about his experience and what they use to call black people back in those days so he maybe got that word stuck in his head and it naturally came out.
