I actually really like the ft5 pro , it’s at the consistent between lite and durable
mine just snapped in half on a one T so idk about durable
I love the FTs. Had the FT2 pros and they finally lost their pop and replaced them this year with FT5 pros. Before the Jetspeed line I was a Super Tacks user, but something about the hybrid kick I get more pop and accuracy with.
The Ag5nt feels the weirdest when you are just testing it. But once you get used to it, it's the best stick for me. I had a 5 game point streak with 4 goals and 6 assist with it. I had 1 point every 2 games before the ag5nt
You also have to tape it different cause its so lively.
I have ft5 pro, geo, trigger 6 pro, hyperlite. With some testing on trigger 7 pro, sync, lx pro, flylite
Just my opinion and personal preference! Thanks for the great videos!
i love my ag5nt but am afraid of it breaking because it is my favorite stick and has tons of chips out of it 😢 i have like 15 goals with it already.
lx pro is miserable compared to my catalyst or sync 😂😂
@Alex I have had great reviews from friends using lx pro. Hahaha, but maybe they haven tried the rest. It was on massive discount so I think it is value for money
@@icyx2376 bro I just broke mine, they aren’t meant for slap shots bc the bottom will blow out on the heel
Sheerwood is making the comeback of the century
They never went anywhere. I've had every top Rekker since the line came out except for the element 1 and they are consistently high performing with each new model surpassing the last. Also they have the best durability and bang for buck IMO.
I love my ft5 pro, I’ve tried many of the other sticks and that’s the one which I’ve preferred
i use the ft5pro rn it has 55 flex and a curve of 90tm its a good stick slaps hurt with no gloves but shot is crazy 9/10
Love my CCM Tacks AS-V Pro stick, switch from Warrior Alpha LX Pro and it is night and day for me
what position are you?
@@dleaguetv3168 Defense
i got the sherwood for christmas and i now have a 16 game point streak 10 goals and 18 assists and its really light
There are at least twice as many NHL players using Warrior sticks than True and Sherwood combined. I would say that leaving Warrior out of the equation is distorting reality.
It’s because they get paid to
Retail warriors are shit
Would you maybe be able to do best sticks for defensemen?
It’s person preference there is no stick built for a position
Nexus series has never done me wrong because of the powerful release and good handling as a defenceman. If not the nexus the 3s pro is also a great defensive stick. Others may disagree but that is what has worked for me.
@@xahaga Thank you for all the information!
Can you do review or video that includes Twig hockey sticks, the Rogue B in particular.
Just ordered a Trigger 7 and AGENT.... LETS GOOOO!!!!!
Broke your agent yet?
Can we get a Mach skate review I’ve been thinking about buying a pair
Are you guys going to compare to some warrior sticks?
Yeah, kinda feel the Warrior LX Pro is better than most of those sticks.
@@mhicaoidh1 agreed - its too bad about the grip - that has been warriors issue like FOREVER - the stick otherwise is amazing
great video love your guys' videos
No warrior in top 10?
Sync is for sure top 3 for me
I broke two syncs and two ag5nts. Bauer is a gemic. Last twig from them was a supreme one90 and was thinking about giving them another try
@@frankiegaliffa3850 I’ve used Bauer for years and I’ve only broke one stick after like 6 or 7 months of use.
@Paul Dyck each to their own
Is your trigger 7 pro splitting at the heel? A 14U AA player on my son's team has had 2 that he really likes but they've both split open from the heel towards the blade, right along the middle of the edge like it's opening a seam. A couple of months past warranty return, but still, 2 sticks splitting open like that at the heel? I expect splitting at the toe but not the heel like these did.
is he hitting his stick on the ice?
can you make a Covert QR5 PRO vs warrior alpha lx pro griptac vidio
Please review the Bauer Vapor Xlite. It's a great stick for the price if you can find it on sale, and there are no reviews on youtube
Agent was the best stick for that I’ve ever had, then again only rolled with the same brand Easton and Bauer
Where do you Rank the hyperlite und this List ?
No where because this is a 2022 stick review but the hyperlite is 2021 so it won’t be on here
Too bad you haven’t had any Warrior sticks to test. The Covert is my choice.
We have 🙃
?
Especialy when there is a novium pro on the thumbnail and not even a single Word about warrior in the video.
Should I get a trigger 7 pro or ag5nt? im foward wing
ft5
The power line in the back scares😬
So if Tommy has the Sherwood Rekker Element One in this video, where would it rank?
In the other videos he liked it the most so probably pretty high
Looks a cool spot to skate and play
tommy has said in previous videos he liked the 5 sided shaft and how it fits in his hands… he suddenly hates it now why? 🤔
Trues stick prices are absolutely egregious.
Are you able to comment on the DURABILITY of the remaining 2 sticks (#1 and #2)?
I live in the USA and am looking at both. I see multiple customer reviews on store websites about each stick 'breaking' just outside of the warranty period, lack of durability, etc.... . For each of your #1 and #2 stick choices, have you broken ANY, and if so, how many and over what time duration?
The concern isn't so much about the initial expenditure for a couple of sticks. It is more related to having to repeat the purchase at 30-60 days out from normal stick use / wear and tear. I can't speak for everyone, but I don't get my sticks for free so if there is at least a reasonable amount of durability with a particular product, then that may help my (and possibly others) purchase decision(s).
Hockey is an expensive sport and I am completely fine with that. It just seems that there is an inverse relationship when it comes to stick performance/price and durability- higher performance characteristics and better feel are found in a product with higher prices but on the flip side, (it seems like) the durability drops. It would be nice to have a couple of recommendations where the performance is very, very good and there is also reasonable to good durability (without the stick feeling like a 2x4 in the hands). Thanks so much for this review and your videos. Looking forward to the next one.
I feel like you can’t trust Tommy. In some videos he says he love the five sided chaft but now he does not like it🤔?
Also he says he is a low kick realease guy but when he is testning a stick with high kick he says he is a high stick guy. I feel like he is being told what to say.
And theres me still rocking a Total One nxg from 10 years ago HAHAH
Forever
we're here!!!
Bauers turned into a gimmick…no wonder Willy Nylander switched to Sherwood 😂
Not in goalie sticks.
Which one is he using now ? Which Sherwood?
@@yrahamaan he’s using the tmp pro…well that’s the graphic on it, who knows what he’s actually using.
I always hated Bauer sticks, only sticks that break the month I get them, warrior or ccm have been my go to minus the Easton makos back in the day lmao
@@speezuss 2nd gen mako is my favourite stick of all time.
tommy you can’t do ccm like this when the ccm gloves and beanie on 💔
trigger 7 pro to save the day 😂
No love for warrior
Best value stick?
the FT5 pro is the truth
Catalyst PX 🔛🔝
I’ve noticed Sherwood aggressively advertising their stick in Canada.
can't find em anywhere west coast though :|
Would love to get my hands on a Trigger 7 pro if anyone is willing to hook ya boy up ahah
86 on top
Trueee
SUUUUCCCCKKKKSSSS
i use sync
can we all agree that he just hates bauer 🤣
Bro put the best stick at the bottom
The sink is the best in the world
Im sorry, im gonna be the hater here, but omg this video was so unbelievably horrible. I didn't even care about where he ranked the sticks. This video was super slow and he basically just mumbled and said "damn" about 150 times and let the camera make all the decisions on a trashy microphone. It was painful to. Im hoping this comes across as constructive criticism.
Where are you?
sync is 1 all day
You like the sher Wood but you dont like the sync
Anyone else cringe a little at 5:22
Agent’s takin spot #1 for Best Stick of the Year 100%
lightest but worst durability
Everyone ik has snapped one. Is it rlly worth it? My geos held up for half a season which is long for me
Rekker element one best
Oi!
He is biased cuz he doesn’t like Bauer
L takes
why no vapor? CCM is a terrible company. Disorganized customer service. Took months to process my return only after multiple calls. I'll never buy CCM again.
It’s about the quality of the sticks not your personal experiences
@@Mrsmalls11 ong
@@Mrsmalls11 lol I can choose where to shop based on any factor I so desire. If yiu don’t think customer service is an issue, good for you. If you buy something from them that doesn’t fit and can’t return it, then by all means continue to shop with them again lmfao.
@@longdog33 one negative experience with something a company is not known for that doesn’t mean there a bad company
@@longdog33 you absolutely can however this video is about his preference with the performance of the sticks, and ccm is making some pretty wicked sticks right now
