I had a box come from Thailand of these garlic flavored chips that were in the shape of garlic and everything, anyways it was the best snack food I had ever eaten so just thinking about that I looked up how to make garlic chips and your video was the first :P thanks!
There are tons of fried rice recepi and this is a legit one. I understand how basic it is and so almost no restaurant serve it. But it is fried rice as well.
How do you make the garlic brown evenly though? I always have trouble with frying garlic since the smaller bit usually got darker faster than the bigger one. My cutting skill is not that great.
@@jamessgarage5406 maybe you overcooked it.It will turn darker when it cools so make sure it's not so dark when frying. You could also put the garlic cloves in water and bring it up to a boil repeat 3-4x to get rid of the harshness.
There is something about garlic I cannot get over. It just never gets old!

Bonnie Roldan I’ve seen people cook the garlic in milk first before frying, they say it reduces the bitterness.

Thank you for this recipe. I love garlic. Can you teach me how to plant garlic?
You're most welcome. I planted the garlic in November, about 3 to 4 inches depth, fertilize during Spring and harvest from end June to end July.
mr roger approves
He wouldn't, it has to be day old rice
Hi, how to make it crispy again? I made one but after a few days it became soft 😅 can it be revived again?
Store in an AIRTIGHT container, and close the lid after eating
Maybe try to microwave it for 5 mins
Rice needs to be cooled to room temp or it’s gonna get mushy
I was bummed you didn't take a bite. Is the garlic crunchy like potato chips? Or more like a semi-crisp cookie? Both look delicious.
Yes, crunchy like potato chips.
This is scrambled eggs with a little bit of rice! 😂

how do you not set off every smoke detector in your house?
How long will these chips last and how should they be stored?
Max a month.
Thank u :)
وكذا البيض بيكونوا بالثوم 🙋

My cutting skill is not that great.
Just have to try to slice them evenly, if not they won't fry evenly. Good luck!
rice too wet imo
better to use rice that is kept in refrigerator over night
I'd tried it but the garlic turn out bitter in taste 😅
Same here, it was horrible, wondering if there’s a way for the garlic to not be sooo sooo bitter.

The amount of oil you used to fry the eggs and rice is not good
Nasi Goreng?
Why my garlic fry taste bitter? Anyone? Thank you
Burned.
did this and all the chips burnt almost black in 15 seconds. wtf
Use moderate heat and slice the garlic thicker.
Well this isnt something i can make at 3am
It's just me or they look burned?
That's not a garlic that's an onion
What a pity you can't speak. Nice recipe though.
Sarcasm here is unnecessary.
