This woman is above and beyond unhinged. Smashed the windows and ruined a 28 year friendship, and acts like she was in the right and is so smug about it.
The most disturbing part of this case is that the Defendant broke all the windows before repossesing the car. Did she say to make it "undrivable"? Why damage a car that you really believed was yours? It makes zero sense. She keeps saying, "it's MY CAR" like an insolent toddler. She damaged the windows on her own car then. Brilliant.
What’s even crazier is all she needed to do is carry her own insurance on it for probably $40/month. It was still in her name and she was concerned with liability. She cut off her nose to spite her face.
Somebody researched it and posted in the previous part that the same day this show aired she tried to file an insurance claim for the damage! So they realised she was trying to commit fraud and Ms I have money and property was in financial difficulties. She had demanded payment in full and when the plaintiff said no we have a contract it appears she had a tantrum!
That is one nasty and vindictive woman. The buyer was making her payments and the previous owner should have left well enough alone. The previous owner is despicable.
The look on their faces every single time that JJ says "I don't care about your feelings" is glorious. You aint the main character, Karen. You're just a bad built, discount Ursula without a cool song.
People gradually change over time. Perhaps the plaintiff became the peacemaker in the friendship. Another person posted that the Defendant hit financial difficulties. Money issues are often a trigger for people to change wildly. Whatever happened, the Defendant has certainly become an unhinged, bad built, discount Ursula without a cool song to sing!
If you look at the previous part somebody looked it all up and Karen here was in financial difficulties! So why sell the car on installments? Wait for somebody who can pay the full price in one go.
@@sl1102 I did too, but I realized the reason she was saying that was that she was concerned about liability, because "the plaintiff is broke." Still comes off as incredibly dumb.
Here’s where I think people get this wrong in friendships and relationships. They know this person to be this way to others, but they think it could never happen to them because they are “special.” They are their friend, their partner. People think they are exempt, until it happens to them
The defendant is so gross. She is being told she is wrong and refuses to believe it. What a sad woman. She's old enough to know how to stop and say "I had no idea I was wrong, I am sorry." She also ruined a 20 year friendship over her ego.
The defendant "agrees" with Judge Judy about parole evidence, yet continues to try to bring parole evidence into the case. Talking to her is like talking to a brick wall.
The old woman who is boasting about owning homes, thinking that, as such, she has prevalence over someone who is not a homeowner, is making a fool of herself.
@@bravo2966in the first part somebody had researched it and Ms I have property was in financial difficulties. Then the day this aired she filed an insurance claim for the damage she admitted to in court and somebody at the insurance company must watch JJ as she got into trouble! She smashed the windows, I guess, in a tantrum after trying to get the plaintiff to pay the entire balance in one go and they said no we have a contract.
I have friends, about 2 and I have acquaintances, about 30 and there are people I know of, about 500 hundred. The defendant says that the plaintiff was her friend for 28 years????? The plaintiff is an acquaintance at best.
You have to think this 'friendship' was nothing but the defendant thinking that they are better than the plaintiff in every way and keeping them around to make themselves feel good.
That's why Judge Judy asked the plaintiff "why $1630". $500 for harassment but she disregarded that and gave it to her because the defendant was a total loon. 😂😂😂
"If you have a written contract, anything you said is irrelevant." "I think it's VERY relevant. I have a home worth $100,000." Uh, okay. Does she not understand she's in court to evaluate the legality of a situation?
I do not understand this. In the UK I have never heard of any private seller agreeing to installments as payments, unless maybe it's a kid buying from parents. Over here if you didn't have the cash you would go to the bank and get a loan or buy a cheaper car. I do not understand people acting like banks and repo companies.
The woman who smashed the car window is so violent , ridiculous , entitled and rude . No matter how many times Judge Judy explains to her , she kept denying and talking back .She is disgusting .
The woman didn’t even understand how insurance works. Once she sold the car, the buyer insures it and also none of the seller’s assets are at risk. She was like the loan company at that point and only needed to be listed as a loss payee incase there was damage to the car before it was paid off. The liability limits the buyer had would just apply to her protecting her own income or assets… So the seller’s whole fear came from not understanding insurance.
Thank you! That's what I was thinking, but then I thought I misunderstood. It doesn't make sense. No one can go after her house even if the liability insurance wasn't enough. It's the plaintiff's problem.
I'm confused as to why the defendant didn't just put the vehicle in the plaintiff's name and take her name off. Then she wouldn't be held reliable in any way, shape, or form. She already has a signed contract on the payments so if the plaintiff would have kept the car and walked on the payment, defendant could have sued her so I'm not sure why she didn't just put the vehicle in the plaintiff's name to start with. I'm surprised their friendship lasted 28 years 😆 as it seems the defendant has a bit of a screw loose it seems to be a bit of a control freak.
The defendant didn't really want to sell the car and was hoping that the plaintiff would default so she could get the money and her car back. When the plaintiff made good on the contract the reality of the defendant no longer owning the car drove her insane.
It's been said before, and we're going to say it again. Verbal agreements are null and void. If the agreement is not in written format, then it doesn't exist.
I always called it "arrogant ignorance." Today it is called "The Dunning-Kruger Effect." Simply put, someone is too stupid to understand they are wrong, so they refuse to accept it and blame everybody and everything else.

We left just enough ambiguity in the wording that the former friend was able to wriggle out of part of the deal. The contract has allowed him to pay only $2000 instead of $3500. We were shocked because he has convinced himself that he’s in the right, but ultimately, the fault lies with my husband and I. We knew better and should have been more careful. Just like the defendant in this case.
In part one somebody looked it up she was in financial difficulties and wanted the plaintiff to pay the whole balance. The plaintiff said no we have a contract and so I assume smashing the windows was a 'Karen' tantrum.
The defendant is VILE and out of her mind. How unhinged do you have to be to bust out a windshield and the back glass when in fact she had a very specific contract with the plaintiff to have insurance in the first place. The defendant had Sellers Remorse. Too bad, so sad, lady. You lose.
She reminds me of my ex fiance's mother. She has to be in complete control of everything and everyone around her and she will intimidate, scare and bully everyone around her. I had to tell my ex-fiance's mother to get out of my house or I would physically throw her out after she started yelling at me because she didn't like something I was doing.
