    I love the theory sometimes I over analyze and over fixate and by the time I do the task I’m already overwhelmed and have to calm myself through the task. I really liked these modern applications. I think saying “more with less effort” gives a false impression of the idea though. It’s using less energy but definitely more effort and intention. I think when people hear “get more done with less effort” they think it means easier. Effort has to be high, but energy does not.

    • @andybsg2802
      @andybsg2802 14 днів тому +2

      I disagree, the less effort the better. The path of least resistance will alway be less effort. Effort is meaningless in the real world. Results, performance and efficiency are what matters. 2 software engineers can put in 1 hour of “effort” if one is more efficient they will produce more.

    • @Pongwise
      @Pongwise 14 днів тому +2

      @@andybsg2802 okay sure I understand what you’re trying to say. I’m talking about effort as in “focused intention”. If 2 people wake up and 1 person scrolls social media right away and the other goes for a walk outside in the sun (like mentioned in the video), who used more effort but also conserved more energy? Also, if your mindset is to go the path of least resistance, life will be harder, sometimes in a very subtle way, depending on your awareness.

    • @ponpon_27p
      @ponpon_27p 11 днів тому

      @@Pongwisethat’s why you take the least amount of effort for things that are good for you, in that example same amount of effort to get different things, 1 getting dopamine from social media use, the 2 goes for a walk, to maximize on effort will getting results, design your environment to allow you to apply less effort for things that benefit you,
      Example instead of going to sleep with you phone, lock it away before bed, in the morning start your day slow with small task that require little effort like (brushing teeth, showering, 2 min meditation, then go for a walk, it’ll feel effortless because it’s the easiest thing to do that still feels rewarding to do because you don’t have access to your phone which might be more effort to use it

    • @Pongwise
      @Pongwise 11 днів тому

      @@ponpon_27p hahah I think both of you are talking about energy. It definitely requires more effort to not use your phone if you are already used to using it before bed. Your mind will be begging you to pull it out but effort/willpower is used to not do it. Again, we are still all saying the same thing but just using different words.

Empaths and sensitive souls might need extra rest and solitude. You can't fulfill your purpose without recognizing what depletes or uplifts your energy. What used to be good for you may now be draining. Ease up. Make space for yourself. Learn from my past errors that nearly cost me everything.

    A few times in my life I've achieved this state of perfect avoidance of lost energy. And I'm not talking about hardcore, cold pursuit of goals here, I'm talking about doing more of what matters, goals, relationships, experiences, life. Each time I was basically scalded for my "careless" and "boring" attitude by this or that person, people very close to me whom I hold dear. I would have a close call getting ran over or some drama happened and the second the situation was over it didn't bother me whatsoever. And so I too started indulging in the muck after being afraid of trying to seem better than them, high horse stuff. Well, that shit ends now. This time I'm better equipped to deal with the questions.

    Your overall message, I agree with, but the pot analogy, while correct, actually contradicts your lesson on "don't be a distracted genius."
    How the pot story actually went is that idea was that person A would focus their energy on literally only making one pot, while person B job was to make 100+ pots a quickly as possible.
    The reasons why person B beat person A was that
    1. Making pots is a redundant manual task. So looking up guides on making pots is less efficient than just physically practice doing it yourself
    2. What a "perfect pot" looks like can be measured objectively.
    Tha goal of your video was to not waste time / energy and to focus your energy on completing your task at hand, which means that you should be more like person A, who didn't make the best pot but he made a almost as good as person B, but with less effort, than it would take to make 100+ pots to achieve only slightly better results.

    I almost stopped watching just bc of the reference to drake and the other. But i see that it was an example of pure idiocracy.
    The problem is when you have no bad habits and youve fought of your demons
    But you need actual tasks that are good and doable beyond a workout or eating right. Or consuming still even if its good information philosophy or scripture.
    You need to build something and have good habits and a lifestyle.
    Knowing what not to do is still aimless, its healthy aimless but still aimless.
    Knowing what to do that is good and correct is much harder bc its unknown to you so far.
    Especially in a world functioning and rewarding pure hedonism and greed.
    Where do the good men and women go in their rarity to give their gifts? Were still mostly soaking in the pit with the rest. So we learn to only control ourselves but still waste our life mostly.

    You call it drama i call it artistic war. Seeing 2 titans go at it in their professions that they put countless of hours into. Dropping 6 minute songs that takes over an hour to explain about. Kendrick won a Pulitzer…. If you’re not into it just say that

      It pointless drama and life me knowing about the drake and Kendrick and Diddy 💀 beef doesn't improve my life or your life in anyway unless you yourself are drake and Kendrick. This is a self improvement channel not a brain rot channel

      @@COolKID-zt2ow it’s a very technical battle between the 2 that would be the modern day version of 2 swordsmen fighting like this musashi guy you look up to. A real learner can see and notice the talent and difficulty of any person in a profession that they don’t necessarily know too much about instead of calling it drama to appear more “smart”. There’s wordplay, entendre, psychological warfare, pure disrespect, story telling through disrespect, the replay value added into it. Just like politics just like the oj Simpson case. Words are more effective than violence for you to just call it drama just because you don’t listen to it

      @@COolKID-zt2ow matter of fact kids are now into lyrical rap music and teachers are saying students are into finding double meaning in words because of Kendrick’s bars. Don’t be ignorant
