- Neal does a quick run through of the features and sounds of the new JOYO Multimode Wah 2. The Multimode Wah has wah-wah and volume functions and two modes of operation: wah/bypass and wah/volume. There are controls for the wah Q and range and a minimum vol setting for the volume pedal mode. The Multimode wah is true bypass only in the wah/bypass mode. The JOYO Multimode wah is small and light. A cool feature is LED status light on both sides of the pedal so you can see when the pedal is engaged.
was that click on sound coming from the unit? Because it sure sounded like it was amplified.
Yes, sounded microphonic to me too. Not good if it is.
Power supply is sadly NOT included. It has to be 9VDC, center-negative, and rated for more than 18mA current (which is tiny). Once I got the right power supply (went with a TrueTone 1Spot Model NW1-US, which will handle up to 1700mA of draw), this instantly became the best wah/volume pedal I ever used. Such sensitivity and fluidity. It adds some mean tone, too. I have always been a Cry Baby fan (still am), but this one gives you a lot more controllability and it's really small and light. I wish they made it usable with a 9V battery, but it only works with a power supply. Guess that's how they keep it so small. With mine, the stomp button is really hard to push. But you can use that green LED as part of your light show! I'd call it a must-have, and the price is right.
do you think it'll work with a 9v battery clip on adapter for portability?
@@rams6702 I couldn't say for sure, but if it's 9VDC and center-negative it might work.
I mean thats pretty typical for most pedals, especially mini ones
How it is compared to CRY BABY?
Thanks for the great review! God bless you!
my joyo wah just arrive😁
Does it sound good?
@@CertBoyLover yeah🤘
@@franklespaul7150 nice. what amp and guitar you use?
@@CertBoyLover Laney amp 10 watts and squier strat hehe.
@@franklespaul7150 well thats a decent gear. where are you from? I'm from the PH a fender squier here is quite expensive it's around 15k-10k php. I'm only 16 btw. I own a cheap strat and amp
Muito bacana. Vou vou comprar um desses pra mim. 😌
Im 7 or a bit more depending on the shoe.. , you must be 13 and 6'9 ft tall or the wha is too small.
Thanks for the Review
Muy bueno
you didn't explained the power function.. does it run on a 9 volt or AA battery ?
it's 9V DC @ 18 mA.
Y is mine not working😫
Cool
green light with red casing 🙄
Is better with blue or red idk
Since it has 2 functions, where does it go on the pedal board? Beginning or middle?
Beginning of course
You can also put it in the fx loop. Basically wherever you want
It's a basically an EQ filter, so if you want to get the most out of its tone shaping abilities, put it last on your board. But you can put it anywhere
What is the green pedal that is used???
Overdrive mini
Nobels overdrive
@@pabloveloso5790 Thanks!
Hi, is this pedal digital or analog?
I think it's analog. It uses so little power.
@@PipeCat1965 thx!
I have that in my rig. My question is that my pedal can't click the wah function by foot. How did you do that? Did you make amends on that pedal? Tell me how, please?
by pressing down on the pedal when the wah is in the toe position
Okay thanks, I'll try that but if doesn't work, I think I'm not using it correctly hehe nice review, by the way.
@@jeremiahpacheco8444 Mine is also REALLY hard to push down on. I weigh almost 300 lbs and I have to almost stand on it. There has to be some way to adjust it, but I haven't figured it out yet. Don't want to risk taking it apart.
@@PipeCat1965 stick a coin on the switch !
@@jamalan7417 That'd be too easy! LOL
