Saw these guys at the Ashcroft Centre, Fareham, last night. They laid down a magic carpet for the audience to fly away on. Just magic.

Jah Wobble is excellent at directing the band on where to take the Tempo and Harmony. He knows what sound he wants to bring out of the instruments in the band, like when he said a little reverb when he brought the guitar into the song. I like the way he put things into perspective. He's truly an Artist! It's definitely an Art and he's painting a picture in my minds eye! Thank you

If you haven't read Jah Wobble's autobiography, Dark Luminosity, which was released earlier this year in an updated and expanded edition. I can heavily recommend it. Whether you're an old punk who enjoys tales about the early Pistols. A Londoner who wants to know about the city that Wobble grew up in (which is undoubtedly a very different London to today). Or just enjoys reading books about music and musicians. It's a really enjoyable and entertaining read.
I honestly felt like I hadn't really lived a particularly interesting life after reading it, Jah has packed a lot of life into his existence. It sounds like he was a very different man back when the drink and drugs had got hold of him, but he's lived to literally tell the tale and has come through it what sounds like a more rounded and empathetic bloke. I honestly think that the country would be a better place if he was running it instead of the blinkered psychopaths who have very little experience of the lives that most of us lead that we've had in charge over the last few years.

So much fun. After all that buildup, I'm really thankful that he didn't screw up his simple bass line when he came back in.

Better double check your facts before posting, mate.
Staple Singers based their 1972 hit "I'll Take You There" on Harry J All Stars 1969 hit "Liquidator" covered here by Jah Wobble (which btw was an instrumental version of Tony Scott's hit "What Am I To Do", also from 1969).

He's been playing that bass forever, and it always seems to have intonation problems. Still enjoyed it though.

Bass is far enough out of tune to ruin the performance. Shame.
