One aspect that’s been especially challenging for me is when I am sensing people are disguising their judgement or arrogance as “humility” or “curiosity,” by posting a meme or questionable “truth” and then asking a provocative question. Even if someone has a different viewpoint from me, I would much rather have them share their rationale that has informed the conclusions they are drawing vs. simply reposting someone else’s clickbait.
