And by "a bit" I mean a lot considering how much HP she restored after defeating Anubis. Still curious as to why her abilities were changed. Can't say I'm overly fond of them, but, whatever. She's still pretty cool but I'd never play as her.

I love the new look, much more physically intimidating, but I do think she's a little bit op in the sense that she has no real weaknesses like most gods have and has every single good ganking tool in the game.
What's Agni's weakness? You could say that about plenty of gods. Her weakness is that she's an assassin, and thus falls of lategame and is easy to focus down.

Without using her ult.

She has every good tool for ganking in an easy to use form rather than a set that may be missing one or require a higher level of skill. Some gods are op when you learn the tricks of using their abilities right but useless if you don't know how to do them right, Kali is nearly impossible to play wrong and has a low skill ceiling to high efficacy. Not terribly OP, just mildly.
I don't know. I haven't played her yet but her kit doesn't have nearly the same utility as many other assassins. Take Mercury, Thanatos and Thor for example. All of them have ults that can take them an extremely long distance away and stun/nuke at the same time, allowing them to make fast, easy and effective ganks, or quick retreats. Kali, on the other hand, has a jump, a nuke, a stun and a death immune ultimate. If you get right down to it, her kit is very similar to a god like Apollo's. It has other nuances that distinguish it from apollo's of course, but at a fundamental level they're roughly the same. Of course, she's lacking apollo's ability to split push, but I think her passive is excellent enough to make up for the deficiency in the rest of her kit. To be honest, she seems pretty balanced to me.
guys Kali is still the same you just didn't notice. Her 1 is like her siphon blood because it heals her for a percent of the enemy's missing health. Her 2 is like her lash just without a cone. Her 3 is like her old 1 because of the power bonus she gains and her ult is the same all around. The only extreme difference is her passive.

Well, you got a point, since Hinduism is still in practice and the deities are worshiped in large numbers unlike any other religions and cultures. But as long as they are portrayed in a good way. They could have used (mostly) legendary heroes or demigods and not the major deities (or many be just minor deities like Agni, Indra, etc) as you have mentioned. but think of these "characters" are based off or inspired of those hindu deities, and not the exactly the same as we know. I rather see them as independent game characters and never equate them or see them as same as our deities.
i find it as a buff mainly because, she has a stun now, that passive seems useful, the already strong ultimate makes her invincible, and she finally has a leap thing that most assassins have. im happy she got this buff but i am sorry for the players that are used to her old self like you, sorry :P
Old Kali was strong early-mid game, but late game she fell off due to a lack of cc and mobility. New Kali has a dreadful early game, but a fantastic late game.

I love the new look, much more physically intimidating, but I do think she's a little bit op in the sense that she has no real weaknesses like most gods have and has every single good ganking tool in the game.
What's Agni's weakness? You could say that about plenty of gods. Her weakness is that she's an assassin, and thus falls of lategame and is easy to focus down.

She has every good tool for ganking in an easy to use form rather than a set that may be missing one or require a higher level of skill. Some gods are op when you learn the tricks of using their abilities right but useless if you don't know how to do them right, Kali is nearly impossible to play wrong and has a low skill ceiling to high efficacy. Not terribly OP, just mildly.
I don't know. I haven't played her yet but her kit doesn't have nearly the same utility as many other assassins. Take Mercury, Thanatos and Thor for example. All of them have ults that can take them an extremely long distance away and stun/nuke at the same time, allowing them to make fast, easy and effective ganks, or quick retreats. Kali, on the other hand, has a jump, a nuke, a stun and a death immune ultimate. If you get right down to it, her kit is very similar to a god like Apollo's. It has other nuances that distinguish it from apollo's of course, but at a fundamental level they're roughly the same. Of course, she's lacking apollo's ability to split push, but I think her passive is excellent enough to make up for the deficiency in the rest of her kit. To be honest, she seems pretty balanced to me.
guys Kali is still the same you just didn't notice. Her 1 is like her siphon blood because it heals her for a percent of the enemy's missing health. Her 2 is like her lash just without a cone. Her 3 is like her old 1 because of the power bonus she gains and her ult is the same all around. The only extreme difference is her passive.

Also I love how in the myth where she nearly destroyed the world she literally bursts from I think Durga’s head like Athena, and then literally kills the antagonist by draining is blood and drinking it all, and eating his clones. Her q can be missed if not timed right but is a good catch up tool/engage or escape unlike her old one which increased speed and i belive attack also her E is now a stun which is good because she had no cc to catch someone but her old e granted incredible sustain based off surrounding enemies so it was slightly situational.

Well, you got a point, since Hinduism is still in practice and the deities are worshiped in large numbers unlike any other religions and cultures.
But as long as they are portrayed in a good way.
They could have used (mostly) legendary heroes or demigods and not the major deities (or many be just minor deities like Agni, Indra, etc) as you have mentioned.
but think of these "characters" are based off or inspired of those hindu deities, and not the exactly the same as we know.
I rather see them as independent game characters and never equate them or see them as same as our deities.

i find it as a buff mainly because, she has a stun now, that passive seems useful, the already strong ultimate makes her invincible, and she finally has a leap thing that most assassins have. im happy she got this buff but i am sorry for the players that are used to her old self like you, sorry :P

Old Kali was strong early-mid game, but late game she fell off due to a lack of cc and mobility. New Kali has a dreadful early game, but a fantastic late game.
