Do you have any idea that in some (esp. smaller) communities where there is less realty competition it is standard practice to *not* reduce prices and let properties sit until sold?
It’s great that the house got freshened up, especially considering the cigarette smoke which would have turned me off of this charming house. But a lot of the new art and furniture are so boring compared to the period details of the house and the glimpses of interesting pieces that homeowner had before. For instance the dragonfly wall accents, the headboard and the new framed art over the mantle look generic compared to that interesting cupboard in the sitting room and the art in the background at 10:35. Too bad the homeowner hadn’t fulfilled that vision in all the rooms. But I guess they’re trying to make the house presentable as cost effectively as possible, not styling it for character.
Ha haaa I loved this blue and yellow color on the house but, totally agree with Sophie, if one wants to sell fast well, put a more conventional color. point. And you found it! As well as th inside. Now it is So very much more 'chique' ! What a great house and, one of you're interesting projects, Yep! Just loved-it!
One word - shabby. It looks like one of those horror movies set in an haunted Victorian house where all the furniture and soft furnishings are rotting and covered in cobwebs.
@@LaLadybug2011 I stumbled upon these recently and have seen quite a few by now. Usually they will say either it was sold - with owner turning lights off - or it's in better condition to find a buyer. This one ended a bit abruptly. Maybe one of the early ones.
Has the channel name changed to get more subscribers/likes/comments? This is an old, old segment. And I always wonder what the rooms left undone are like.

I think the price is right. I’ve also seen houses in similar colors sell. I think it has to be the smell of smoke! That’s a major issue in my opinion
Surprised they kept the yellow ceiling in the front room. Would have changed that.

This is in a major city in a hot area.
Very lovely improvements! I'd still not pay that asking price. It's simply not worth it. One day, someone will want it bad enough.

In a Master Bedroom a walk in wardrobe/dressing room is a great asset!!!!
Thank you ❤️
seen. Good improvement!
At least include the eventual sale price
I wish she would include labor hours in the “cost”. Materials are a small %.
$699K? how many years ago????
I love the blue and gold exterior. Superbly done.
No sale?
This particular show usually ended every episode without there being a sale. Frustrating for those of us that watch it!
