The method will vary depending on the veggies you use, but here’s a rough guide... Olive oil 1/2 a red cabbage 100g brussels sprouts 1 carrot 1 courgette 1 tin sweetcorn, drained 2 spring onions 1 red chilli Chickpea or gram flour (we used about 50g but it will depend on how watery the veg are) Salt and pepper to taste If you have one, use a mandolin, grater or food processor to finely slice the veg. Add to a bowl with a pinch of salt. Sprinkle in the chickpea flour by a couple of tbsp at a time, mixing with your hands until it starts to bind together adding more chickpea flour as needed. Drop a tbsp or so of mixture into a pan with olive oil and fry for a couple of minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce, ours is a blend of parsley, kefir, lemon juice, garlic, tahini and salt. Enjoy! 💛
@@arisra-I think cauliflower would be delicious addition. I think this is what they want to promote with this recipe..experimentation. In Indonesia we called this Bakwan. The different is most bakwan here full with flour. Better we made it by ourself so we can minimize the flour content. It is delicious btw
I tried this and all I got was wet cabbage pancakes that smoked out my whole kitchen. Maybe I did something wrong, but definitely do not recommend this particular recipe. Skip the flour and frying - just have a nice salad
If we could get the world eating 30 whole plant foods a week with ~30 grams of fiber and 7000 steps a day, we would solve all the world's problems as a result.
What type of flour did you use there to bind it? I love cooking like this as it's so free, I can use whatever I fancy throwing in. Unlike baking which is so precise 👍
We suggest using chickpea or gram flour (roughly 50g but it will depend on how watery your veg are). Totally agree, the flexibility of this recipe is what makes it 👏
Instead of frying it, what else can you do to make them? Would putting them in the oven be all right? I am trying to avoid oil as I've noticed I do not feel too well when using it.

That is maybe overwhelming the microbiome. The old fallacy that “more is better” is something to think about. The other thing is “ if it’s not broken don’t try to fix it” If you were to eat one meal. With ether salmon, or egg or meat, with lettuce and cucumber and/ tomatoe each day. That would be enough. There is no need to be extravagant. That is the thing. For health, simplicity and ease is the 🔑

@evlogitos4779 thank you!, will definitely try it
i make raw salads like this nearly every week. But i use a chinese red wine vinegar, fish sauce, chilli oil with finely chopped raw garlic
A healthy gut aids in efficient digestion, ensuring that nutrients are properly absorbed and utilized by the body.
Awesome, didn't know you could stick stuff together with chick pea flour. Delicious
Yes, I had no idea either, great stuff
Corn provides no nutrients & It doesn’t break down in our gut.
I just love the way veg looks when it is photographed. I may have been a food photographer in another life lolol
It looks good raw also 🙏🏼🥳🥑

30 different types of plants or 30 plants in general/total?
Can we get the recipe to the sauce please?❤

Hello. What is the recipe for this? Thanks.

This is veg pakora Indians have been cooking for centuries
True, it’s an Indian veg pakora…. Nice to see how most of the western world are copying the Indian recipes with a slight twist.
@@parmajitsheimarthere’s nothing Indian about this recipe, calm down. Just fried veggie patties

What is the recipe
Mixing all this with long nails in your finger made food completely unhealthy for any persons digestive system.
can we eat it without oil frying ?
You can eat it any kind of you want.
Life is subjective. What works for your may not work for others vise versa lol.

Not the corn 🌽 No no it causes inflammation
Is that yeast
Corn?
Sweetcorn isn't good for you. Even cows can't digest it properly
Can you use eggs to bind them instead of chickpea flour?
This preparation looks like it was just DYING to be made into a fermented mix!! Then you added other stuff besides salt and lost me..
