Buckin When I first saw Hogan he was dragging brush for you. Rarely was he on the saw. But over time, with your guidance, he did more and more. He started climbing and just like that he was gone. Now he comes back to say hi a whole new man. He is even showing you a thing or two. I loved it. It would be nice if we could see more of you two working together again. Work hard. Be honest. Be kind.

It is so hard when we reach the age and health issues that we just should not be doing what we use to do, but it is so rewarding when our children have passed us up and show us a trick or two we never knew. Best feeling a father can have in this world is to see their child pass them by. Love it Billy Ray. Well done both of you.

It was FANTASTIC to see "Ganges" on the vids again! He has come far and it shows.
He has the confidence of his old man, the education of his old man, but is carrying on old traditions with new technology!
    Way to go Hogan!
BTW, I tried to find the "Timber Titans" on the Discovery Channel as mentioned on the previous video, but I found it listed on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. And it was not yet being shown on Dish Network. But I did set my DVR to record the shows!!!

Your comments about a good ground man Really hit close to home for me... I built water towers 99-2002 I learned every part of that job. Live hanging, dead end, chime, vertical nut up and brackets, and Drive out was probably my favorite. My brother kept me on the ground. 😢 Thought he was picking on me until he told me why.. you and him didn't use the same words but said the same thing..❤ Been taking pride in my stumps since the late 70's. That saw monkey thing is for young men, but that doesn't mean I don't know exactly how it done.. Thank you all for the content ❤ You've got every reason to be proud of that young man. Blessing to you and yours,, be safe.👍🙏

Wow. I'm kinda shocked, but not. There are a lot of people that would do the same.
Pick up that file and go to town. You're going to save so much money by sharpening it rather than just running it dull and tossing it away.
Don't let it get dull and it'll last longer. Just hit it with the file and keep them sharp as razors.

BB, you have all the right in the world to be proud of Hogan,, who I find hard to call boy as he is doing a man's job. I used those same type of ascenders for years doing SIP Roof Panel construction
throughout the Intermtn. West. being ab;e tp move about with tension on the line as needed and work in front of you is the only way to go. We would use dynamic line for the hang line and static line when necessary. A 5 ring harnes and we could rig up belst and stuff to them easily. OHSHA looks at it backwards with their "Fall Protection Systems" and we were using illegally but as theysay them and the horse they rode in on , job safety was #1.✌
