Vicky you really brought across the sense of the special and exceptional that this car is, seeing one in the flesh at Goodwood was to be in the presence of something else all together, how lucky are you that you got to drive it too!
I love your review of this, use of words that truly capture the descriptions of this car, you paint the vision of what a phantom can be for someone. Thank you
Most people don't realize how massive these cars are until they see one in person. They are massive. The frame for this car is impressive. Check out UA-cam for videos on its construction and you'll see building features no other car company on the planet has equalled. The design is a little sterile and stogy and the rear-three-quaters is especially weak and underwhelming. Still, another great review from CGs! Your team does a good job of comprehensively outlining every car you profile... even ones very few people can buy.
Finally an excellent truthful review of the ride quality of the Phantom. 99% of the time the ride is excellent except for the low speed ride where you can sometimes feel tiny shiver through the rear axel. THANK YOU for not stating it's perfect perfect. Vicky I want to see you review many more cars and provide that much detail into the ride, steering, and handling. THANK YOU!!
Well there are forty shades of green, emerald is unique to Irish colour. English forest green is associated with Bentley motors. Rolls-Royce phantom EWB version has to be carefull which colours are used.
There’s nothing like a RR phantom on the road. It is super impressive. I was driving right behind a phantom the other day and I was watching the people’s reaction. You’ll notice it on the road. It is just too bad massive but classy at the same time.
Wow, what an amazing review - made me smile, laugh and I learnt something new about this car. Vicky is hands down my favourite presenter on UA-cam. The Phantom 8 is also epic and unlike the Cullinan which I understand at a commercial level but hate on every other, I think the 8 improves on the looks of its predecessor. It combines the neat trick of being effortlessly and definitively superior to anything else on the road without looking flash or cheap.
Honestly, I prefer the new Ghost. It just looks a lot better, more modern, more sleek and aerodynamic than the Phantom VIII, but I guess that's the point. The Phantom VIII is supposed to be a bit more old-world than the Ghost.
@@jackj5368 that’s what Bentley’s are for. It’s an old adage, The ole RR is no more than a posh hotels taxi. It is stunning but sadly even if the owner is driving it, the perception will be that they’re just the chauffeur taking the car for a service or filling it up ⛽️ 😬
I work at the factory and frankly I am gobsmacked that hasn’t been picked up. Though the door doesn’t look like it’s fully shut. You can see that @2:45 where it isn’t completely closed which may account for it looking out of line.
@@krugmeup2162 not on the production side, but in the offices. However I know just how insane the QC is on these cars and I’m pretty certain that is due to the way the door is sitting (not fully shut). No Phantom would ever leave with misaligned handles. They go through way too many visual checks.
I'll only buy one; maybe two now 'er indoors wants the pink one mentioned; if it also has that advanced warning gizmo that maked peasants get out of my way. In all seriousness this was brilliantly presented by Vicky. Shame about the white leather, but money doesn't buy everyone taste.
Bmw did very well owning rolls Royce because I think that Mercedes Benz even though I live the brand would not have made the rolls Royce it is today meaning allowing the company to remain classic and possibly limiting the options on the car like the maybach brand. Mercedes-Benz produces a better s class than the 7 series but bmw builds a better rolls than the maybach
Any one who wants to own a Rolls-Royce can own their dream car , How you can buy the much older models, like a Silver Shadow, Silver spirit, now less then the price of a new Toyota. I myself own and drive, mostly on weekends two Rolls- Royce vehicles, and I work as a gardener . So you can too ..
The interior of modern RR is nothing special anymore compared to the lavish wood and leather of yore. And the vibration at low speeds in the new Phantom is unacceptable.
If i spend that amount of money i will drive my own rolls. because i love driving why buy something just to have it served to you without enjoying the experience of using it, It seems pretentious and self adulation being above others.
So Vicky was it your family that won the triple roll over lottery, that afforded you this beauty, or like other car enthusiasts, was it just a hire job paid for by the day? I think the latter, don't you agree fellow and feline motorists?
Probably less polluting than a small electric car that gets used everyday. Phantom’s don’t tend to do much mileage, and they last for decades. This car will probably be around in fifty years. So over its lifetime, frankly it’s probably pretty good. Unlike someone who buys an electric car on PCP and changes it every three years convincing themselves they are saving the world.

The way she yanked the screen and tried to push the picnic tables away made me wince.
Really? Not demonstrated adequately then by RR to her
This emerald green color is amazing ! 👏👏👏
Correct with silver bonnet🌞💥
That engine - for such a quiet thing, it really is all torque.
You mean the engine is “all torque no show”?
You didn't stress that enough. It's AAAAAAAAAAAAALL torque.

A Rolls-Royce review that didn't mention the shagging umbrellas.
Mrs. Parrott 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That is what you call 'imposing'! The Phantom looks like it could come out on top in a head to head collision with an ocean liner!

The colour should be called great Britain green , absolutely beautiful

Great review guys.....Great video for a beginner channel
I would like to hear Ms. Parrott's opinion on the current generation of Aston-Martin DBS Superleggera sometime in the foreseeable future.

excellent review
I love the intro
Fantastic classy review
I would love to drive this RR from Las Vegas to NYC and back. but I would need to own one first
The first shot of the solid metal handles was decidedly odd. The handles in no way lined up together.
You should Review the New Ghost and then you can Truly compare as they say the Ghost will be driven by the owners compared to the Phantom
Just perfect 👌
This is not truly a chauffeur level car unless it's the EWB with partition option. Otherwise it makes no sense to not just drive it yourself.
Fantastic car, but from the back it looks like an enormous BMW mini. Now I have seen it…. I just can’t unsee it.
Gorgeous color
It really is!
One downside though, finding a top level chauffeur is more difficult than ‘commissioning’ a Phantom 8
10:35. It’s six and three quarters 😁 not 6.75 🥸

What a car. Lucky lady
They have the Ghost for people who like to self drive their Rolls

Right from the get go the door handles are completely misaligned! How did that car leave the factory like in that state?!

The absolute last word in luxury. Nothing else even remotely comes close. The only car that did, the Bentley Mulsanne is now out of production.
The screen is not a touch screen. Here are the controls for the touch screen.
hey those door handles don't line up perfectly when closed, one rare thing on a RR...
2:01 Does it bother anyone else that the door handles don't line up?
Yes, I did.
Wow.
How the "other half" live, indeed.
Here's me struggling to pay my road tax, and MOT is due...
Still enjoyed the video though 👍
Those trousers that she wore spoilt the whole video!!!

Fantastic statement . Thanks to BMW for saving RR . 😊
The Germans are good car builders : pity they don’t make commercial planes .. much much less crashes would have happened !
Is the gps adapted so as not to take inappropriate stupid tiny backroads? You will need a chauffeur as where could you park it?
Did the back door close?
Excellent but too less space on rear seats 👍😁👍
Is it true she drove this car barefoot because she didn't want to get the pedals or carpet dirty?
No disrespect she looks very short in height standing next to the Phantom. Beautiful presentation 👍

I don’t think it exists, an option to lay down all the way. This is not a Maybach S580 you know.. rolls Royce unfortunately doesn’t have that option
This is not a review but an advertisement, if Rolls Royce build such wonderful hand crafter cars how come they have such reliability problems
I thought it was Danny Daniels in the thumbnail
0:32 what in the bs is she talking? 2.8 tons!? it's 2580kg in the normal wheelbase and 2610kg in the long wheelbase🤦🏼♂️
uh, the door handles didn't line up
The white leather would be wonderful if you were sat in it with blue jeans.
My wife's blue jeans leave blue marking on the beige leather seats of our Karoq.I allow it in the Skoda but if I had the RR,she'd have to walk.

Beautiful car but the Maybach makes a statement too
You're just reading out their PR blurb, rather than making an objective review.
RR should go %100 electric 😩😩😩

Maybach 62 more luxury than Phantom !
