It's still relevant electronics improve get smaller motors improve get smoother tires improve get grippier but suspension geometry stays the same either it works or it doesn't, the 10/10.2 works. nice vid thanks for sharing.
Looks good. "It's ugly, but it got down," lol 😅 👍 I have one mostly CNC by Vanquish parts and it's been converted to a truggy trail truck and I'm still working on it, long time project on and off.
Thanks for getting me motivated to get my Axials out after watching you review your Gladiator I went through my SCX10 3 JLU installed a new servo & updated the wsc settings & took it out but i also went through my SCX2 Honcho installed a Fusion & went through everything & also took it out I filmed both of them. And here you are taking out your Honcho mine is the last version before they discontinued it & us a bit different. Had a not watched your video they would both still be sitting covered in dust so thank you. Im hoping now you take the Blue older Brazer out so we could take a look at it I think you said that was also a Axial.
I run the Canyon trails because you guys make them look good. I’m trying to like them but the width is more bouncer than crawler in my opinion. But hey smoke them if you got them I always say. Nice truck and video 👍
I love my canyon trails, I got mine in a trade with crawler innovations softs In the front and medium rear, but I have a heavier wheel on it so I didn't cut them. The Gmade AR03 wheel is fairly heavy and on my VS410 ultra with no brass the thing can go anywhere up steep inclines like it's nothing. As for the og scx there is one thats fully built on marketplace minus Vanquish axles I've been eyeing for a while, if I manage to get it it'll probably be the one I let people use to get them in, although my better half has fallen in love with the vanquish trucks herself so I have a lot of building and buying and trading around to do. I'm glad to see the truck that caused me to buy the Rubicon kit is still going.
I to fell in love with the vanquish rigs I have, but have kept them away from momma. And now that the snow is here she won't drive outside so they are safe for now!🤣🤣
@gerrysoldguyreview mine wants a hot pink phoenix, I'll probably just get her the RTR, put the DSM battery tray in it and let her run it for a while. She said I could run the old beat up trucks since I like unreliable vehicles in the full size world. I've found my axial stuff has been fairly reliable for being 10.2 and a pro.
@jacobdavis2378 maybe that's a good thing, my daughter wanted a hot pink scx10.2 once I built it she drove it twice then went back to driving my older rigs!🤣🤣 didn't want to ruin hers.
Every time I think about setting my course I'm glad I haven't. I've increased and decreased the difficulty a few times already. I have rock from Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico woven into it. How's that for original 😂
nice to see it running!
More to come!
Nice spot for crawling (and Husky😊)
Thanks 👍 always a work in progress
Nothing better than a nice set of tree roots!
You are not lying! Works the truck out well!
It’s still relevant, as matter of fact it’s still awesome 🤙
So true!
Those are my favourite tires, canyon trails. They work so good.
Working really good on this rig!
Awesome video Gerry, the cut tires worked great 👍
Yes they do!
With an escort 😂 love it!! Canyon trails are a great tire I'll die on that hill 😂 far as an rtr tire I mean. Good video Gerry
Thanks buddy!

Great point! And I totally agree 👍

Glad I could help!🤣🤣 the blazer is a 2 which is next up for a long term review!

Thank you 😊 I have not noticed the tires being to wide, iam a huge fan of hyrax tires and they are the same size .
Got me missing dirt right now 😅😂
I would have dirt trails still had it not rained!!
@ that rain did make a nice crust base for exploring haha
@daltonsalaskanadventures7673 but a pain for digging out the course!

@gerrysoldguyreview I'll definitely rock a pink RTR phoenix they drive great and I can say it's for BCA
@jacobdavis2378 also a white top, I too am down with that!
And no one would argue with BCA!

What a collection! I have rebuilt mine 3 times, now have just decided to have 3 different levels of difficulty
@gerrysoldguyreview that's the ticket ! 🤪
