    Thanks for making this video! I'm a new potter and want to try this. I assume you wax the rim of the pot and the outer edge of the lid and then dip?

      Yes, was the rim of the bottoms piece and the entire lid part that sticks out. It is just easier that way. Good luck!

    How do you glaze fire these without them sticking to each other or to the kiln shelf?

      You keep the glaze away from the bottom half of the projects or make bisque “cookies” for them to rest on while they glaze fire. They can’t touch each other during the glaze firing process or they’ll be vitrified together

    Thanks, I’ve had customers asking for one…also interested in your bat system? I have one of those husbands too, he makes alot of my tools and things..

      We used double tempered Masonite to make the bats and the master they fit in. When they are new you don’t even need to underwire the piece. It will pop off the bat during drying and leave a nice sleek bottom
