The Korg Polysix Synthesizer from the year 1982 is a great polyphonic analog synth. For the most people the rival of the Roland Juno-60 but the sound character is very different. The P-6 sounds more like the 70s. Here can you find the full Polysix playlist with single sound demos and one synth demo tracks. Enjoy. Lovely sounding synth, you could listen to it all day. A great classic you have there. Never knew anything about this synth until I seen it on here and it’s fantastic. Can’t believe how good it sounds. Thanks for sharing never get tired of these sounds. Once again an amazing synth from an amazing channel.
don't expect for that sound with your polysix. he added reverb which makes every synth sounding great ❤ - i had one back in 1985 and he sounds dry as fcuck 😂🎉🎉
If I was at your place and saw that synth collection...I would pretty much play until I was exhausted and passed out. I really like what you can coax from these synths (especially when you play them on the floor- I must try that sometime)- Rick@@retrosound72

One time, I visited my local music store, and as usual, I went straight to the keyboard department. I noticed that there was a Polysix or Polysixty-0ne ( I don't remember which). I asked the salesman if I could play it, and he said yes. He told me it was his own keyboard, and he had it at the store, because he was thinking about selling. Of course it sounded great, and after playing it (just messing around, nothing special). he told me that he thought the sounds were great, and was reconsidering selling it.

Yes, it has this dreamy 1970s sound. It immediately takes me to Francis Lai, early Jean-Michel Jarre, etc.
Had a Polysix 40 years ago. Now 20 synths later I`ve never been as creative as I was back then…
Yes I understand that very good. 👍🎹
You need to listen to some jungle.
me2, 1985 a polysix went into my life
As a Polysix owner this really puts a smile on my face to make me feel I made an awesome choice in buying one.💪🏻😎👍🏻
Have fun!

Thank you Michael for your time and kind words. Yes agree a wonderful synths with lush sound. The typical 70s sound. 🎹👍
Волшебные стрингзы у этого красавца! Спасибо, дружище!
Большое спасибо, мой дорогой друг. Я рад, что тебе это нравится
Der Polysix ist ein wundervolles Instrument!! Ich liebe diesen spacig-verträumten Sound..
Stimmt. Genau diese melancholischen Klänge liegen ihm. 👍
I enjoyed every sound, every second. It's like witnessing the coming autumn. Bull's-eye!
Besonderer Dank für das - "Das Boot."😎
Thank you so much my dear friend. Glad you enjoy it.
Have a great weekend
Will never get tired of your Polysix videos. These are one of the main reasons I got one. Also Steve Moore and Zombi.
Thank you for your kind words. 🎹👍
Tolles Video.
Habe ebenfalls einen Polysix. Er klingt einfach fantastisch.
Vor allem das Filter.
Und das alles mit einem einzigen VCO.
Absolut. Er klingt besser als viele neue Synths
beautiful sound.
Thank you 👍

A synth need a bit FX.
One of the synths I want to grab someday. Excellent and organic analogue sound (and excellent demo as always).
Thank you Jose.
So lush like a 70s stringmachine
Awesome 😊 Wonderful Video my dear Friend ! Warmest Greetings ❤ Marcus ✨🕊️🙋♂️🎹✨

Agree with you 🎹👍
Magnificent demo ! Thank you very much.
Thanks a lot
So nice, I have one twice and one with the original box it came in! Kick*ss synth hands down!
Thank you for watching
Cool tunes. Thanks. Versatile synth with great timbre.
Thank you Arthur. Glad you like it.
Sounds awesome and great demo! I only own 7 synths…but your videos make me want to get up and play them, Marko!
The best feedback is always when a video makes you want to use a synthesizer. ;)

thank you John!
Super !!!
Thank you
Always liked the poly 6 better than juno 6
I like both but both are very different soundwise.
@@retrosound72 yes..they are.
I preferred the dirtiness of the korg over the juno, though.

Vielen lieben Dank 🙌
Hello! Very cool synth! I have a question, what notes does the violin play from 0:20 to 0:26? And 0:47 to 0:53
A good question. ;)
Very old stuff.

Congrats! You make more fat sounds with the Polysix then most people I have heard here with a Memorymoog.
Thank you so much
Amigo tengo un korg Kross, una pregunta le puedo cargar sonidos del korg polysix a mi teclado.
Unfortunately not. Have fun.
Those last few samples were definitely late 70s-early 80s European synth sounds like in German nightclubs.
Yes 🎹👍🥂
can this poly six sync with a Korg analog kr55 b?
yes
I hate myself for selling the poly6 in the late 90s
You are not alone. 🙌
Me too!
Korg Poly6 sounds way cool.
Thank you for watching
@@retrosound72 You're always welcome! :) 🎹
Do you have 2 Korg Polysix?, because one has a midi input near the power cord and the other doesn't.
My first and my second. ;)
The stuff is a Best of my work over the last 15 years
Korg would be very well off reissuing this one.
;)
How would you compare it to the sound of the DW-8000?
very different sound character. The P6 sounds typical 70s. Very lush.
