Great work man :-) Love the Polysix.. and right now I am about to record the video to yhou.. and you will be very happy to see what was my first synth :-)
My polysix is working great except for the memory which im not sure if it actually works or not, because i never really use it. I dont know if it loads or saves the memory or not. And the arp knob seems to be going. It doesnt seem to be able to change the speed of the arp very well.
That’s true. This was more a video outlining some thoughts I had about the Polysix rather than a proper sound demonstration so the sounds come later. Thanks for stopping by!
Hey man any thoughts on my problem? I can’t get my polysix to “write” programs. I switch to “enable,” press “write” (which blinks) then choose bank and program, and the “write” button stops blinking. But the new program doesn’t save in the spot. It instead keeps the old preset program.
If you want to hear the Polysix in its original factory condition just look up the work of the late Martin Agterberg. ua-cam.com/video/QJ8TnYozbGE/v-deo.html
Very interesting information. The Poly Six has its place in history as a vintage synth!
I agree - thanks for watching!

Yeah sometimes age catches up with the old machines and they need some maintenance. Could be what you’re running in to.
If you are interested in hearing how the instruments sound, go to minute 13:33 and it will start playing.

Are you working with an original Polysix board or using the Kiwisix mod?
@@mwmusic29 original polysix I believe. I have not opened it yet. I read elsewhere someone had the same problem and replacing the RAM did the trick
@@jacksonrauch9429 I'm not sure how much help I can be but I'd be glad to do what I can - just need to know which version you have. Thanks!
