I absolutely love it , big up too you all at Behringer! although I wish that you had included Richard Barberi keyboard player from 80`s band Japan in your list of 80`s musicians , he used an OBXA on tour and in the studio , and what he did with it, was immense , he created textures and complex movement with detunings and sweeps, delicate percussive sounds etc, showing a completely other side to the OBXA , that unfortunately never seems to get showcased. Musicians of all kinds need to use one and get beyond those eighties cliche presets , because it sounds like nothing else, when you push it .

Never before have I been so excited for a music instrument in my life, I feel like a kid again. Well done on the great R&D and delivering a modern synth with a vintage spirit. Also great work on the video production and the sound track, I dare say this can be used as is in a sci fi movie :) Well done to the entire team! I hope one day I can add this to my arsenal. Now to work on getting one to South Africa, since our local shops represent Behringer rather poorly and if they do, it is at no stock or massively inflated prices!
Waiting patiently for an UB-xa update! I hope it will be worth while the wait. I'm satisfied with synth but anticipating cool updates makes it even more exciting 🙂
Congrats and thanks to all contributors. Versatile synth and poly aftertouch controller in one machine. Well done. I think we have still a couple of month to collect money to actually buy it. :) Depends on the price.
**NOT A HATER** This synth does sound great, and has a lot of very cool added features (arpeggiators, polyphonic aftertouch, etc). It should sell like hotcakes, no doubt. One thing I don’t hear is that OB creamy filter stereo sound. Also, I hope that Behringer has improved the components (like the keyboard feel and pots) over their previous keyboards. If they get the components to match the sound, they have an absolute game changer here, even if isn’t doesn’t sound exactly like the OB’s. I really need to play one live (as we all should) to judge for ourselves) to see how it feels and sounds live. That being said, congrats Behringer !!
I recently bought the Prophet10 Rev4. There's a magic about the P10 that almost can't be explained. I will still purchase the OBX8 instead of this. Nothing beats an original.

That introduction tho 💯😍. This instrument as a whole is 🔥🔥💯. Excellent work TEAM!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽. Can't wait to get my hands on this beast of a musical masterpiece 🎶🎵🎼🤟🏽😝
Sounds awesome - nostalgia of the original is strong with this one 😀
Well done team B! 👍
Excellent behringer have done it again
This synth will become known as the "GameOverheim" and finally squeeze the nostalgia analog synth market back to realistic prices. Thank you Behringer! Still lovin' my DeepMinds.
Dream on. People will happily pay top dollar for either hardware you can't buy anymore, or such hardware re-imagined by the same manufacturer so it has heritage. All this does is make things more accessible to people.
@@X22GJP It's putting companies like Moog out of business again, though that couldn't be helped following Moog's push for unionization 🤦♀
@@6Sparx9 are you seriously suggesting that unionization killed moog?
@@selfsaboteursounds5273 I know, it sucks, I thought their employee stock options model was pretty good, like Tesla and other places offer. Im glad I got a Matriarch, DFAM and Subharmonicom before they tried to join the the cancerous International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as between that component shortages the writing was on the wall :(
@@selfsaboteursounds5273 and yes.
This synth really is a thing of beauty, thank you.
wow ..great stuff !! Can´t wait to have it !!
Looks great, sounds great. Lovely set of features. Looking forward to seeing this beast out in the wild.
Great job, sounds good and the updated features really move things forward. In particular MPE, poly aftertouch, dual arps.
Congratulations TEAM Behringer. you have done it ❤ WE LOVE YOU !!!
Sounds fantastic. I hope I don't have to wait long for the desktop version.
Is there one coming ?
I hope they do create one
@@panos-onlyascii It's looking like there will be one. Behringer posted a picture of the desktop prototype on their facebook a while back
@@saren6538Bound too, as teased, as most synth heads have plenty of decent master synth keyboards 👍🍻
I'll get one!!!
Behringer is one of those companies you either love ‘em; or hate ‘em. They did a great job on recreating this synth I have to admit. I still like the expensive OB synth, but if you just want the OBX sound without the bells and whistles; this may be the synth for you. I like it. Hope they’ll make a tabletop version.😕🎹🎶👍🏾
Fantastic video Patrick!
Thanks bro!
Creamy goodness! :) Will have to pick one up. Been looking for a nice Analog but didn't want to pay the crazy prices out there. And I've got to say THANK GOD for Behringer. Great gear that holds up with the best and lasts! Recently got two TD-3 and an RD-8. Impressive and so well priced! Pro features and entry level prices. My prime instrument is guitar (Still love the Vamp 2 rack!) so I'm going to have a lot of fun with midi guitar integration as well.
Never before have I been so excited for a music instrument in my life, I feel like a kid again.
Well done on the great R&D and delivering a modern synth with a vintage spirit. Also great work on the video production and the sound track, I dare say this can be used as is in a sci fi movie :)
Well done to the entire team! I hope one day I can add this to my arsenal. Now to work on getting one to South Africa, since our local shops represent Behringer rather poorly and if they do, it is at no stock or massively inflated prices!
@@BigHairyCrank What is "garbage" about it?
This demo pulls on the the emotional chords and I'm fine with it.
Waiting patiently for an UB-xa update! I hope it will be worth while the wait. I'm satisfied with synth but anticipating cool updates makes it even more exciting 🙂
I remember seeing Uli releasing the first design concepts so long ago, wow this is crazy seeing this project come to this stage! Amazing work 👏
Congrats and thanks to all contributors. Versatile synth and poly aftertouch controller in one machine. Well done. I think we have still a couple of month to collect money to actually buy it. :) Depends on the price.
Those modes sound so different! Awesome versatility. I guess all the effort and R&D will make further polysynth projects much easier?
They weren't even subtle, were they? And all sounded useful
“The Synth King” is a risky/arrogant title in this era. In what area(s) of synthesis do you consider yourself to be superior to all others?
like, aside from the synth, just the music in this video is immaculate
Props to Patrick the video creator, he sure knows how to make melodies and songs too, top talent they have there
**NOT A HATER**
This synth does sound great, and has a lot of very cool added features (arpeggiators, polyphonic aftertouch, etc).
Now, finally, I can eat my words. I never thought it would be released. You know I'm going to buy it when available.
The years passing the more we can see that they are becoming good in recreating old synths.
Sounds great, well done team.
Me want, Me want bad, Me buying this shsssait. Behringer legend!! Take my money n keep it up!!
It sounds spectacular. The team did a fantastic job with this, thanks for another homerun Behringer! 😄🎹🎶
Thanks for the demo .Somewhere in my multi keyboard collection there is still room for a good synth. This will definitely be it . Regards Andre from SA
Thanks for watching :), I'm sure you will enjoy it, best synth I have personally played though that's fairly limited to mostly Behringer synths haha. Cheers, Patrick (the guy who made the video, Edinburgh)
I happy for your new platform of big synths and looking forward to Pro 16 or updated Deepmind :)
