Our machines are set at centimeters per second. I’ve never heard of the need for meters per second. Of course, you could always just move the decimal point on the report. I will try to get a hold of my application specialist and ask them.

Mindy, how would you see kidney stones better by comet tail effect? I switched from GE to Phillips and I miss the GE twinkle setting. What can I do to adapt my Phillips?
Lacy the phillips twinkles on most stones for me. But I use the abdomen general preset when I do kidneys. I haven’t had much luck to achieve twinkle using the abdomen renal preset

I have never needed to perform an angle measurement. But I will check and see if it is possible on the machine. I know when we perform hip ultrasounds on newborns that the radiologist do the angle measurements on their computers
I don't know of any way w/o going into Windows.... Which you have to have the super secret clearance certificate for, lol . You may check in utilities setups and then under display towards the right hand side there's some volume controls but they're mostly to do with the button presses and key clicks. Good luck
Thanks for replying. We called the Phillips rep. We're told that is a malfunction with the machine and there's nothing that we can do ourselves. We are having our PAC team working of fixing it.
I think it really depends on your PACs system. You should be able to delete a study from your PAC system completely, and then resend it. if that is the case, you can delete the image while reviewing it, and then resend it to PACs after you have deleted the initial send.
Also, most PACs systems will let you delete an image from a series or the whole series. So you shouldn’t have to worry about doing it after you have sent it from the ultrasound machine.
If the worksheet has been set up then it’s under Cal package on the touch screen once you measure some thing it should come up or you go to it under the measure option on the touchpad and then you will see calc package, tools and Q apps. You select Cal package and select the measurement that is appropriate for your image. Then at the end of your study when you hit the report button on the touch screen all those measurements you put in the calc package will be placed in a report format

@@alizajoon I don’t have instructions available on echo because we don’t have the software. My department scans everything except for hearts. But I’m sure phillips has instructions on their website. Often it comes with a small fee but hopefully manageable

Also there is often times no, tail but just the twinkle.

This machine Indian prices??
I have no idea how much it would cost there. In the US a used one is around 80k I think. But it is definitely a work horse. It’s very easy to use too.
