- I ordered this the night before the Zorro came out and for anyone else who got one of these for what ever reason I’m sure the setup was just as confusing as I had it. I believe this may be fixed because they obviously rushed this out without completely setting it up. I almost thought I had a broken version till I figured what was going on.. Hope this helps some people 😎

Thanks for a great video. Your previous experience with ELRS is clearly a benefit and kept you out of trouble. I just took mine out of the box and newbie FPV. Only previous experience had been with EMAX EZ Pilot RTF. So going to be my first experience mating this radio to a BetaFPV Meteor 75 ELRS BNF. Here we go!!!!
You’re most welcome 😎 I hope it went well for you! I know this setup is a bit daunting for new pilots but once you get over that initial hump it’s then easy. Fpv overall is riddled with tinkering but it feels great once you’ve got the hang of it
I think I love this radio, havent messed with it enough to know for sure. It had a few quirks but honestly that was cuz I didnt have my ELRS configurator updated. Couldnt find the jumper 2400 in devices because I was on 1.3.2 config.
Then throttle was on the right but that was an easy fix just switched it to mode 2.
Other than that this radio is badass, Im coming from a jumper t16 and loving the feel especially with THUMBGRIPPIES I got the shortest one

I bought this. Hearing your comment makes me feel a little better. Still waiting for. Mine in the mail. I want to flash the elrs firmware for binding phrase. Will do it via wifi/webpage method. I hope it doesnt brick🤞
Glad I could help! Yes I’m sure you’ll be fine with flashing. It was stressing for me but I was happy it worked! I’m actually really liking it. I worry about the heat seeing there’s no fan, I have the max set to 250 and dynamic so far and it’s been solid tho.

I BOUGHT THIS RADIO, TOOK IT OUT OF BOX, STUCK IT BACK IN AND SHIPPED IT BACK, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY "OPPS, I DROPPED THE SOAP" ALL DAY, WHYS IT SO SLIPPERY, BEST THING I EVER DID WAS GET THE ZORRO ELRS
LOL yeah I know what you mean! I felt this way moving from the x lite to T lite, but because I’ve been using the T lite so long this one doesn’t feel slippery at all to me, plus u can add a lanyard. I would have gotten the Zorro but the big screen sticking off would make it harder to pack in my setup. That’s the only reason for me. But the Zorro overall seems like a better choice for sure
Thanks for the video Daniel! Quick question… I have flashed mine like you have done yours and can verify that it worked. I can bind to my tinywhoop but when in BF there is no stick movement. I have the solid light and telemetry lost/recovered notification but there is no stick or button movement on BF. When I disconnect and connect with my other TX16s, running the same version of ELRS, everything works perfect.
Can you help my figure out why my T-Pro has no output? On the radio while watching the screen, I have full stick movement but nothing outside of the radio despite connection confirmation.
So sorry I’m just seeing this 😳 did you ever figure this out? It really sounds like there is an issue with your radio, maybe a bad flash of the open tx? I’d love to know if you solved this. It’s not an issue I’ve ever faced on any radio
@@DanielSingerX so after flashing and re-flashing over and over… I tried with my binding phrase and it worked first time. What I did wrong was I probably put a binding phrase of the tx but not the Rx. Idk how I could pair them but not see movement but the solution was re-flash with binding phrase. Currently all of my drones are running 2.5.1 also. I know 3.x is out but the not binding bug that was initially present with 3.0 pushed me back to 2.5.1 because I knew it worked.

I think now they fixed this problem with the button having to be set up. They have a simpler toggle button on the newer models so it’s safer to buy and easier to setup 😎 I can’t confirm this for myself but I read many people who purchased recently saying this
the expresslrs thing isn't loading for me what should i do?

Only for me it keeps asking a password to connect Wi-Fi

Could you post a link on how to flash through the web page , after build ( not build and flash )?
It’s actually super simple and I’ll try explain here. Once you’re already connected to the wifi from the module just open your browser and type in 10.0.0.1 where you usually type your webpage address and it will open a page from the receiver. then look where it says “choose file” and it will open a window to browse to where ever you saved the build file from configurator. Click on that then beside it should say upload and flash or something like this. That’s where you wait a bit and it will be done! Hope this helps 👍🏽

How to connect a rc plane to the jumper t pro 1000w elrs transmitter
so after we do flash it will work, no bind needed in the craft?

Sorry I missed this comment somehow.. It depends on if you end up using the passphrase, you'll just have to use the same passphrase on the receiver when u flash it also. If you don't use the passphrase then its binding as normal, but I suggest using passphrase as its easier and the more modern way :D also if you add a new craft in the future all you do is add the passphrase to that new receiver and it will just automatically bind and work with the radio
I have jumper t pro elrs version transmitter but I want this transmetter to control two drone separately but it have 1 reciver and this reciver is not available in market then can i use radiomaster elrs and other elrs reciver connect with jumper t pro does its work ?Will it work? And if I do, which receiver should I use?
Are the gimbal size, feel, and stick end length the same compared to zorro?
When I tried the Zorro the sticks were very similar in the way they sit with your fingers but the tension on the Zorro was a bit stiffer. The t lite has a lighter feel meaning you need less effort to move the sticks. The stick ends and lengths felt very similar to me. They are both adjustable tho. Even the stiffness of the Zorro sticks can be adjusted to be looser I was told

Does it have fan as they didn’t mention anything on the spec list.
I don’t think it has a fan at all, just a huge heat sink I can see in the back. It will be a good thing to test out how it manages at highest power with the heat.. but at 500 it seems to manage well so far
@@DanielSingerX 1w without a fan seems odd as most txs have a problem at higher and even lower powers. My es24tx gets hot even on 100mW
@@imsid2253 u bring up a very important point here! Last night I was playing with some settings and had it on for a while on 250mw and where as the radio itself didn’t get too hot when I touched where the heat sink shows it literally burnt my finger. It wasn’t even on 500hz and that adds more heat. So that’s definitely something to bring to light and test out
@@DanielSingerX Yes. Almost every tx has a voltage regulator problem(or something related to this). 1W without fan means literally destroying the radio. Iflight was smart enough to put one in their 1w. Jumper should change this in the second batch
Hi, I bought the Jumper t pro , having trouble binding. Does the rx bin and tx bin go in the firmware folder. Puzzles me
How are you updating? Through the wifi? And using binding phrase?
@@DanielSingerX Passthrough, also tried wif I have the elrs nano bin also It just flashes and no bind. I watched bardwell on binding and 3 plug in and out to get into bind |,but nothing Hey ho a forth day ,lets try again

😳 maybe you got the version with the multi protocol internal module? It could be a mistake also so try setting it to crossfire and see if the expresslrs lua script runs! I hope it’s just a mistake and u didn’t get scammed 😕
@@DanielSingerX ahhh, under page 6 or something I had to turn on crossfire and then it'd show up and not say multi under internal rf, thank you so much for the help! I took it apart to check as well haha
How is this for actual long range flying?
I haven’t tested this to it’s limits at all but I got 3km out on adaptive power with the limit set to 500 and had no issues. I do feel that a better antenna would yield even better results but it definitely seems adequate. I personally wouldn’t pin it at 1000watts in fear of overheating causing issues, but I haven’t seen that happen to anyone.
Ok so I'm trying to use the 3 way switch for arming but I have set it as a 2 way switch. In the bottom position it is not armed but when I move it to the center it's armed. I want to make it work only in the fully up or fully down position and I can't get it to work like that, I'm sure there is a way to do it.
I have contacted support but no one ever replies.
U should be able to do it in Betaflight. Adjust the yellow sliders for the arm switch so it would only arm when the switch is fully up. That's what I did at least. Hope this helps!
@Wiggins FPV I understand that but as soon as the switch goes to the center position its just to the same value as the up position. It's doing my head in bad.
@@dalewhitmore143 oo I see what u mean. I think I found a solution. If you go to your mixes setting on transmitter, under ch5 (aux 1, your arm 3pos switch), set the offset as 50, and it should do the trick! the weight is default 100
oh there's an easier way, if you go to "output" setting on tx, edit aux1 -> direction -> INV (inverse), no need to touch the offset / weight in mixes in this case.

@@wigginsfpv9098 Just to be clear this is my arm/dissarm switch.
ok that really only flips the value in betaflight if i use INV. down = 1000, up = 2000 which is ok, but..
If i set the offset to 50 it works the way i want, going from down to the up postion where the middle of the switch does nothing but when i go back down than the middle of the switch dissarms.
So i need, down = dissarm, middle do nothing, up = arm and is has to do that on the way up and back down

Can you use this with other protocols like frsky?
Not this version. There’s a multi protocol version that has the different protocols inside, but that one doesn’t do ELRS internally. Both versions can also use an external module
None of that was easy or remotely quick. I'm selling mine now.
