I'm gravitating towards the '80s carbon fiber, it's going to be a hard choice this week so many knives coming out hinderer, Yeager, after hours, and the lush! But yours is definitely the better deal out of any of them!
Im onlyba usa made knife purchase, would love to see one made by divo. So i dont come to see the knives i come the the commentary. Your humor has me coming back everyday
Thanks man. We have been trying to get something made here. But it needs to be to our standard and its just been difficult. Gone through 2 oems so far.
Just a little tip, but just the tip. If you have calipers measure the blade, the 2 bearings, and the washer all stacked like it would be in the handle. Then do the same with whatever washer and bearings you're trying to use to see if the measurements are the same. It will help with buying steel washers and not putting the knife together hoping to get it to work.
Have you thought about trying teflon tape for when thread locker doesn't want to set? More fiddly to fit on small hardware than super glue, but then you can make small adjustments anytime, disassemble easier, and no need to wait for it to set.
So mad I missed the 80s neon camo-carbon, I didn’t think they would sell out in a damn hour. At least I was able to scoop a lava flow, but that was my least favorite variant
I actually like the idea of the race washers. Also the stock bearings dont look like the stamped cages. They look decent for stock bearings. I dont think Skiffs are needed in this knife. Imho. Also I went on TinkerForce website and I cant seem to find the tray and tool holder your using. I remember you saying, you designed it. I would have to email him to get that setup ??
The holder was a custom order. U would have to email or DM them and see if they can make another for you. Also, yes I explained exactly what you said in the video. Not necessary at all but i knew ppl would want to fit them in so i wanted to show how
@@NevilleSidhuif not, hit me up in a few weeks. They are making me a black one. I wanted something less noticeable on camera. So ill have the white one as an extra. And i have my older one with a few less slots.
Way too much logisitcally and cost wise would add like $20 atleast to the cost of the knife. Most ppl don’t care about skiffs or even know why they are better. Most ppl think its for better action, which is sometimes a side effect. But yea basically just not worth the cost of doing that when the stock bearings are fine for 95% of customers.
@@williamsipe1151i made this video a while back but it explains it. Finally! The Answer To Everyones Question... Why Skiff Bearings? ua-cam.com/video/7f9y_JoFdHk/v-deo.html
I can’t believe you made a knife with two free spinning pivots, t6 screws all over, and can’t even use skiffs. If someone else made this knife I think you’d be criticizing all of those negatives. And wasn’t there supposed to be a titanium milled clip too?
I answered you on the clip earlier. I did criticize the T6s. The other stuff is fine with me. I like spinning pivots. Watch my video tomorrow on the yeager v3 to see why. Its ok if you don’t like the knife but we made decisions based on what we wanted, price point, and who was making it. Cant get everything you want or things would take forever or be in a higher price range. We try to have offerings at every level.
@@LeftyEDCno I love the knife it just confuses me why you approved those things that everyone would expect you to not let through bc they’re basically universally disliked I still love the knife and will continue to support as long as you keep making great knives. I’m just trying to give constructive criticism and express my surprise that you’d approve non captive pivots and t6’s not even on just the clip which is bad enough, but on the carbon too which overtime will probably strip out
@@LeftyEDCps. I don’t see why a captive pivot, t8 screws, or including normal 2¢ washers so we can use skiffs would increase the end price by anything meaningful if at all. I've watched many of your videos and you always say you wish they were T8 vs. T6. But when it comes to your knife company, T6s are no big deal. Then, you're expecting people to have replacement washers lying around because Kansept uses different ones than pretty much every other manufacturer. How hard would it have been to tell Kansept T8s and normal washers? Or, just include a set of normal washers so we have the choice.
I explained the T6s in multiple videos saying it wasn’t ideal and definitely knocked it for it. For the washers, 98% of ppl don’t swap bearings so thats just how they do their washers/bearings which works fantastically. I wouldn’t want to change something for 2% of ppl to be able to swap bearings. If you swap bearings, you most likely have washers laying around. At least thats my thinking. Biggest thing though is it doesn’t need skiffs. They use a solid cage not stamped which is again 98% the reason to put skiffs in something. Why have them go to an inferior design just to let 2% be happy about skiffs being easier to install. The T6s they gave me their reasons and it made sense. Ive had no issue with them, and did test them before production. Hopefully that answers ur questions. If u need washers for it, hit me up.
